Better Graphics for Fallout Rebirth+

This add-on is designed to be used with the Fallout Rebirth+ collection. You will see a dramatically improved look for the game. It replaces a large portion of the textures used in the original Fallout 3 game with new, higher-resolution versions created by a number of different mod authors. The target resolution is 1K for most terrain and gear, with 2K for creatures. This collection is provided for users with a decent PC that are looking for a better-looking game but don't meet the specs for the 4K Graphics collection. Some of the highlights for this pack include:

Clothing & Armor - All clothing, armor, and power armor has been updated to higher resolutions.

Creatures - Face Mirelurks, Robots, Deathclaws, and more using new texture replacers.

Clutter & Items - All forms of usable items and clutter in buildings and the wasteland have been improved with new graphics.

TARGET PC SPECIFICATIONS

• The collection was designed to provide good performance on computers using an Intel I5 processor and Nvidia 1060TI video card or their equivalent, and running the Fallout 3 game installed on a SDD.
• I strongly recommend installing the Fallout 3 game on a solid state drive (SDD) to significantly improve performance and reduce stuttering. This is especially important if you are installing large texture packs like Better Graphics.
• Users with systems notably below the target PC, or if you have installed the FO3 game on a standard hard drive, should consider running the Fallout Rebirth+ collection without adding any graphic packs to avoid excessive stuttering.

FIRST-TIME INSTALLATION

1. Requires Revision 8 or higher of the Fallout Rebirth+ collection to have been previously installed.
2. Go to the Next site and click the Add to Vortex button. When prompted, select the same profile you created when installing Fallout Rebirth+. Let the installation complete. Do Not use with the "4k Graphics for Fallout Rebirth+" pack.
3. Make sure to start a new game as the added textures will not be compatible with previous saves.

UPGRADING

1. Requires Revision 8 or higher of the Fallout Rebirth+ collection to have been previously installed.
2. Go to the Next site and click the Add to Vortex button. When prompted, select the same profile you created when installing Fallout Rebirth+. Let the installation complete. Do Not use with the "4k Graphics for Fallout Rebirth+" pack.
3. Within the Mods tab, select "Purge Mods" then "Deploy Mods" to clean-up older installations.
4. Check the Changelog to see if you need to start a new game.
