Completely changes the way Valheim plays by adding lootdrops, enchantments, new endgame content and classes. Lots of odds n' ends to round it out. Based on Epic Valheim and using Valheim Plus.

I'm not the author of any of these mods and don't take credit for them. Epic Valheim in itself is kind of a Mod Collection and this Collection only aims to enhace and expand upon it. Use the modpage of Epic Valheim as a staring point before trying to install this Collection.


Main features

  • Vastly expanded Endgame into the Mistlands, Deep North and Ashlands Biomes (JTV Biomes, Monsternomicon, Epic Valheim Additions, Terraheim)

  • Lots of tweaks and additions to make your experience more enjoyable through a custom V+ config.

Before you start

Best used on clean(!) installation of Valheim! Read Epic Valheims mod page very carefully! Follow the install instructions before installing any other mod!

Use the "NexusInstallationCheck.bat" included in Epic Valheim (placed in Valheims main folder) to check for correct installation. Some mods ".ddl" files (plugin files) have to be placed in a folder with the same name as the file inside of "...\Valheim\BepInEx\plugins", some can be placed freely for EV to detect them. If a modname shows up red, either put it in one such folder or take out then try again. MonsterLabZ will always show up red (for me at least) but it seems to work either way. Kill the first boss to find out if everything is working. If a strange error item spawns the mod is missing something (trust me, you will know if it happens).

Requirements

  • BepInEx. Not included in the list since Vortext auto installs it.
  • Epic Valheim full installation as it is not modular. Everything that's marked as required should be installed.
  • Knowing how to mod Valheim in the first place ;)
  • Some mods need to be downloaded from Thunderstore and installed from file with Vortex
  • Some Mods need to be placed differently using right click on mod (in vortex) and selecting "open in file editor" to create new folders and move things around a bit. This is because Epic Valheim requires a certain file structure to work.

  • Best used on clean(!) installation of Valheim
  • Read each mod description
  • Backups!
  • Show some love to the amazing mod authors who spent hours to enhace everyones Valheim experience!

Installation

When installing Epic Valheim, you need to change the filestructure of some mods in order for them to be recognized by EV. To to so, disable the mod in Vortex, then right click->open in file explorer

List of mods to be modified:

  • Epic Loot: rename the folder called "files" to "EpicLoot"
  • Better Trader Remake: inside of "plugins", create a folder called "BetterTrader" and move all files from plugins to that. The file structure should be plugins/BetterTrader/{assets, BetterTrader.dll, languageconversions}
  • MonsterLabZ will always show in red, don't know what file structure is expected here.

Afterwards, enable the mod again and deploy.
