# Description

This collection contains mods I've found that work stably with 1.2.8. This mod list works in both Campaign and Sandbox.

Some of the wishlist mods have updates for 1.2.8. I'll be testing them out and hope to add some in revision 10.

Based on Gamemstery's collection Bannerlord Modded 1.2.4.

# **Important Setup**

- Update Bannerlord to 1.2.8.
- Disable any mods or older versions of mods that are not part of this list.
- Download and deploy the modpack in Vortex.
- Use BLSE LauncherEX.\
  **How To Set a New Primary Launcher in Vortex**
  - In Vortex make sure Bannerlord is your currently managed game.
  - Go to the Dashboard.
  - Find the Tools section.
  - Click the three dots to the right of BLSE LauncherEx.
  - Choose **Set as primary**
  - Launch Bannerlord from Vortex.
- ## **In the launcher go to Options and enable Beta Sorting.**
- Go to Single Player -> Mods and enable the mods.
- Launch the game.
- **In game at the main menu go to RBM Mod Menu, enable RBM AI, disable RBM Combat & RBM Tournament.**
- Play and hopefully enjoy!

# **Troubleshooting:**

### **If Bannerlord is crashing repeatedly verify the game files in Steam.**

If BLSE Launcher fails to launch you may have to set its location manually.

- In Vortex make sure Bannerlord is your currently managed game.
- Go to the Dashboard.
- Find the Tools section.
- Click the three dots to the right of BLSE LauncherEx.
- Choose **Edit**.
- Set **Target** to Bannerlord.BLSE.LauncherEx.exe\
  The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64\_Shipping\_Client\\
- Make sure **Start In** is set to the folder containing Bannerlord.BLSE.LauncherEx.exe\
  The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64\_Shipping\_Client\\
- Click Save.

# **Best Practices**

- Set Dismemberment Plus to realistic so blunt damage doesn't dismember. Dismembering opponent's tends to get you disqualified at tournaments even though it's still forced to be a knockout.

- [Horse Call Continued](https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/2207) No exception handling. It will crash every time if you hit the hot key when you don't have a horse, such as starting in the arena without a horse, if your horse died, or if it ran off the map.

# Known Issues

**Fourberie:** If you are allied with bandits and you engage Deserters or other bandit type armies in combat you may experience a crash at the start of combat or when auto-resolving.

If a non-bandit troop (such as Vlandian heavy cavalry) becomes incorporated with a bandit hideout and becomes the leader, the game will soft lock when you get to the duel challenge while clearing the hideout. To get around it send your troops in to auto-resolve the battle without you present. Seems more likely when a hideout has been around a while and had a chance to capture local troops.

**Open Source Armory - Realistic Battle Mod Patch:** It can make arena battles into drawn out Nerf bat matches. The arena effect is why it's an optional mod instead of a default one. Can be safely disabled.
