Update Instructions

- Read and follow the update instructions of **every** Revision you want to update in the changelog section - Every update instruction will mention if a new game is required, highly recommended, or not needed - Head to the Collection section in Vortex and press Update. If you're asked to delete old mods, confirm - After the update is successfully downloaded and installed, deploy your mods - Head to the "Load Order" section press the following buttons in this order: "Reset Plugins File" -> "Refresh List" -> "Sort via LOOT" - Deploy the mods again **If a new game is recommended but you want to update and continue your playthrough read this:** ``` - Beware that some things might not work as stated in the changelog and unforeseen issues can rarely arise - When reporting bugs please always state that you updated the collection on an existing playthrough - When you're several major Revisions behind it's highly disadvised to update the collection on an existing playthrough ```

Optional Mods

### None of the optional mods included in Odyssey are recommended but provide a way to configure the game to your liking. *** **Install instructions for optional mods:** - Read the description of the mods down below - Head to the "Collections" section in Vortex, click "View" on Odyssey, head to the "Mods" tab, and add the "Recommended" filter to the "Required" column - After installing the mod, install/activate the mod and deploy mods - Head to the "Mods" section, open "Manage Rules", and press "Hide Resolved" - Load the optional mods after everything else - Head to the "Load Order" section and "Reset Plugins File" - Deploy the mods again **Optional mods are save-game compatible unless otherwise stated** ### Easy Digipick This practically removes the Digipick minigame for people who don't enjoy it. ### Odyssey - Restored Crafting XP Restores the ability to gain XP when crafting items which is by default deactivated by the collection.

Known Issues

- The "Larger Fonts" option is not fully compatible with the collection - Photo Mode pictures are saved into "Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\Textures\Photos" - Steam Overlay will no longer work in-game - Exiting to the main menu and loading a save again or going into NG+ will cause many mods to stop working *(restart the game and load your game to fix this)* - Controllers don't work when starting the game with Vortex, you have to add the SFSE executable to Steam as a non-Steam Game and run it from there
