# Before you start

**Requirements**

- **A clean Baldur's Gate 3 install. (Might work without a clean install. Haven't tested.)**
- **Some Vortex experience. (Gopher on youtube has a great Vortex tutorial if needed.)**
- **LSlib/Divine Tools (Vortex should prompt you to download this.)**

**Best practices**

- Use a new profile if you can.
- If the game did not load or stuck at 100, delete modsetting.lsx in C:\Users\\\<Your Name>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public
- On updates, make sure to reenable the mod type to "Engine Injector" on WASD, Native Mod Loader, Camera tweaks and Achievement Enabler.
- Test any mods you choose to add to this collection one at a time to ensure compatibility.
- Install mod as a replacer if prompted.
