Is reccomended to have all the dlcs, so you can see the new costumes for the companions
Don't use this collection online, unless you play online in private using a password with another friend.
If you want to play it with a friend, both clients must have the collection installed. (<-NOT TESTED).
If you want to unistall this collection, be sure to remove all the modded clothes, accessories ecc... from your character, or you could corrupt your save file.
Is reccomended to make a backup of your save file.
- Download this collection to your Vortex client by clicking "Add to vortex"
I suggest you to apply it in a new profile, so you can switch between a clean one and a modded one.
- Once you have downloaded and installed all the mods, you need to install and start another tool before starting the modded game, called "Ishtar".
You can download "Ishtar" by using one of the following links:
Giuthub link: https://github.com/Code-Vein-Tool-Hub/Ishtar/releases (The "Release.zip")
- Now that you have the zip file, you need to put it inside Code Vein installation folder.
Create a new folder called "Ishtar" inside Code Vein folder
For example I have "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\CODE VEIN\Ishtar" Unzip "Release.zip" inside the new folder you just created.
You should have this inside the "Ishtar" folder:
- Ishtar is installed but to use it you need to add it to the Vortex client too.
Inside Vortex, in the collection profile, go to the "Dashboard" of the client (The main page of the client), located on the top of the menu on the left.
At the center of the dashboard you should see a button with a big "+" with written on it "Add tool".
Press it and click on "New".
You will see a new window where you will be asked to link the new tool, "Ishtar" in this case. Press the folder icon on the top right of the "Target" line and select "Ishtar.exe" inside the Ishtar folder. Click the "Save" button". Your Dashboard should look like this:
- Now that Ishtar is installed inside the Vortex client, press the Play button on the Ishtar rectangle and the program should start.
Inside the program you will be asked to locate the mods folder inside Code Vein installation folder.
Ishtar should find it automatically, but in case it does not you can find it here:
Once you have linked the folder, you can press the only button inside Ishtar, "Merge Data Tables".
Ishtar is now combining all the mods installed, you just need to wait untill at the bottom of the console appears "Done".
Now you can close Ishtar.
To check if Ishtar succesfully completed the merge of the mods, go to the "Mods" section inside Vortex and you should see a new mod called "ZZZZZ-MergePatch_P" If it is not enabled, enable it.
You need to start Ishtar each time you update the collection, or the game will not install updates and new mods
- You are good to go, the game is modded and fully operational even in alredy existing save file, no need to create a new one.
If you want to unistall all the mods, just change profile inside the Vortex client, so you don't need to install the collection again.
