# Description

*Currently works for v2.13 in late 2024*\

My collection of visual improvement mods for Cyberpunk 2077. Mostly focused around weather & LUT improvements with Nova City & Nova LUT, custom path tracing options (not mods, instructions below), and a few other mods to improve textures, LODs, glass, etc.\
\
The LUT Picker is included as well as a few other other LUTs to play with, use the included Cyber Engine Tweaks to play with LUTs & weather options.
My personal favorite is either the Nova Lut 2 - Main (with boost to highlights) or Nova Lut 2 - Pure (with boost to highlights).\
\
Includes a mod & hotkey to hide all UI elements at once, press **F1** to toggle all UI on/off.

**Includes a small handful of gameplay mods that I like:**

- No fall damage
- Crouch vignette effect remover
- No Intro Videos
- Preem Scanner
- Preem Scanner - Monochrome addon

Includes all the requirements for all the mods to work properly.



# Not a mod, done manually: custom path tracing

The built-in path tracing CDPR put in is mediocre for visuals. It's performant and runs well, but visually it's not as realistic as you can get with some custom tweaks, at the cost of considerable performance.

**To get the custom path tracing options, navigate to:**\
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc
Create a txt doc if one doesn't exist called "user.ini"\

Paste in the following:

`[RayTracing/Reference]`\
`RayNumber = 12`\
`BounceNumber = 4`\
`RayNumberScreenshot = 6`\
`BounceNumberScreenshot = 2`\
\
`[Editor/ReSTIRGI]`\
`Enable = false`

Enable MUST = false for these custom settings to work. If it's set to true, they won't work.\

Personal preference for best visuals I've tested are 12 rays 4 bounce, and 9 rays 6 bounce. Both of these were giving me about 1-10 FPS on my 3090ti depending on area. Clearly not good for gameplay, just visuals. A 4090ti could likely run this at about 30-40FPS with frame generation.

The hope is when I get a 5090 next year, it'll run buttery smooth with ultra realistic path tracing :)
