You want to live the story of FALLOUT 3 GOTY but in an immersive and survival way. Well here you have it!! You will have to look for provisions to feed yourself, rest and sleep, and improve your equipment to face the hard life in the wasteland. They will also have weight limitations since now one point of strength will only give you 15 pounds and now all objects have weight, including ammunition, but don't worry, we can buy backpacks to increase our capacity. It will not only be a nice decoration to see on your back! You can buy them from the vendor next to the water tower next to Vault 101. We can upgrade our weapons with mods at a workbench. These will be hard to find in the wasteland, be it military supplies or corpses of mercenaries, raiders, etc... But don't worry, you can also buy them from your favorite weapons vendor, although they won't be cheap.... Returning to the issue of needs and food, we will have to eat, drink and sleep. In our pibboy we will even have the statistics and be careful because if we do not take them seriously we will have consequences and we can die. Oh, another thing, I would not drink from the sinks, toilets, etc., since the water is very radioactive and although it can heal you, it does not quench your thirst. So this will be your last option to heal yourself. So be sure to drink bottled water, either clean or purified. Speaking of healing now, food will heal very little, sleep won't heal us or restore mutilated limbs, so make sure you have stimulants on hand because you'll need them. But this is not all because now the instant healing is over and the healing effect will be little by little so make sure you manage your stimulants well. And how shall we cure the mutilated limbs? Friend, don't worry because we will have the medical bags with which we can recover and treat our mutilated limbs. We can loot these in the medicine cabinets, buy from some merchants and of course from our trusted doctor. We could end here but this is not all... since the combat is now... DEADLY! A headshot will be enough to kill, a limb shot will incapacitate her, and the damage dealt is much higher. This not only applies to the AI, but also to the player, so make sure you fight tactically, think about your every move, help yourself with VATS and the new BULLET TIME mechanic! The latter I found out for yourself ;). Logically, mutant animals, super mutants, etc... will have more resistance than humans, so be careful. Oh, by the way, don't forget to get a helmet, although we can die from a headshot, a helmet could save your life... you have a small chance. And finally, as a good survivor you will have to explore the Wasteland to get supplies and a place to rest. Venture out because there will be new places to discover such as houses, shelters, shops, etc...

-RECOMMENDATION-

-To improve graphics some texture mods are implemented, but if you want to improve colors I recommend installing the Reshade. These are quite easy to install. In nexusmods we have a great catalog so find yours and follow its steps to install.

-IMPORTANT: I am Spanish and most of the mods are translated. If you don't know Spanish or prefer English, just uninstall and remove the Spanish translations of VORTEX in the mods section and make sure the mod rules are sorted (if you don't know how to adjust the mod rules, it's explained further down in the  from the INSTALL section)

-INSTALL-

-The first thing is to install your FALLOUT 3 GOTY and start the game. Once you get to the menu exit the game. If you already had FALLOUT 3 GOTY installed, I recommend that you uninstall it, delete the game folder (if it is the STEAM version it will be in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 GOTY), delete the folder FALLOUT 3 that was located in the MY GAMES folder (Documents\my games\Fallout3) and then reinstall your game. This will free you from possible errors and more if you used mods before.

-Now it's time to download and install FOSE and its patches. To do this, follow the steps in the short video that explains it well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2gXAMmrdh8

-Once FOSE is downloaded and installed we will go to our VORTEX application and we will link the game with the application. If you don't know how to link the game with the application, you just have to go to the GAMES section and look for FALLOUT 3, click on MANAGE and it will be linked. Another thing, if you don't have the VORTEX application, you just have to go to NEXUSMODS and download the application. Make sure to log in from the application with your NEXUSMODS account.

-Once our FALLOUT is linked with VORTEX, all that remains is to download the modlist. To do this you only have to click on ADD TO VORTEX and the modlist will begin to download. If you have premium in your NEXUMODS account, just wait and everything will be installed automatically. If you do not have premium you will have to give each mod one by one as they come out. It's quite simple, just click download when the notification appears in vortex and it will send you the google page of the mod, click download with MODMANAGER.

-VORTEX will be in charge of automatically putting the rules and complements of the MODS. To make sure everything is correct, just go to the MODS section and at the top you will have a tab called MANAGE RULES. Click and get the list of rules. If by chance the rules are not ordered and are with question marks, just press USE SUGGESTIONS and everything will be ordered. There will only be two messy rules that are the backpack mod. Apply BEFORE in FULL VERSION and apply AFTER in UPDATE and save changes at the bottom right where it says SAVE. Now we go to the PLUGINS section and make sure that they are all activated including the DLCs. If they are not, we simply activate it.

--Everything would be ready to enjoy. Remember that some mods will be used after leaving the shelter for the first time. There are mods that we will need to adjust from within the game, which are the following: The HUD mod and the BULLET TIME mod. If you like the standard HUD, leave it like that, but if you want an immersive HUD, hold F6 and the HUD adjustment menu will appear. Simply swipe the health bar, compass, action points, and weapon info off screen with the NUNPAD ARROWS by going to the settings for each. For the BULLET TIME mod, after you first exit the shelter, the mod's settings will be added to your inventory. You just have to go to your pibboy and look for him in the CLOTHES OR HELP section. Click on it and adjust the button to be able to use. I also recommend adjusting the time of use of this action as quickly as possible so as not to abuse as much and be more fair.

This experience is recommended to play on VERY HARD difficulty but if you feel it is unfair just lower the difficulty to NORMAL. I hope you like it and enjoy :)
