Fallout 4: Vault 111 is a lore-friendly collection of different mods that gives you the player a fresh adventure through the Commonwealth.

With some mods (and the free CC content that everyone got) adding things without a story or an explanation of why it’s there, I decided to give them context and a lore reason why they’re there.

# CC Lore

**Hellfire Armor-** The Hellfire armor was used by Enclave troops at Adams Air Force Base in the battle against the Brother of Steel. The armor was made to withstand extreme heat and the soldiers who wear the armor are often welding an incinerator. After the Enclave was defeated, most soldiers fled. Some went and searched for other bases, others went awol and left the Enclave. One such member was Pyro, a soldier who used a suit of Hellfire armor during the battle at Adams Air Force Base. After the battle, they fled the battle and went north. At first, they tried to live the normal wastelander life, even living in Diamond City for a bit as a repairman for Takahashi. After several years of doing the same job, he started to get bored and felt like life was meaningless. A feeling that started a bit after he went awol after the battle at Adams Air Force Base. One day when out searching for supplies to help repair a printing press, they encountered the Forged. They saw how they used flames to deal with anyone who got in their way and how some members used Power Armor. Now granted it was poorly made Power Armor, but that didn’t matter to Pyro. Seeing those raiders reminded them of their old squad and how they were. So before they knew it, they were rushing back to Diamond City to dust off their old suit of Hellfire Armor to try and join the Forged. Once they found the base of the Forged, they marched up to the front and asked to join. The raiders at the front were confused at first but asked Slag what was his thoughts. Slag was happy someone like Pyro was trying to join as recruiting people with actual combat training to join was almost impossible. Slag tasked them to go and take over Listening Post Bravo so they could have a second base. Slag also tasked some other Forged members to tag along to see if Pyro was up to the task or needed to be killed.

**Enclave Remnants-** After the battle of Adams Air Force Base, many Enclave soldiers fled. Some went and searched for other Enclave bases, while some went awol. A group of soldiers fled north to try and rebuild from there, but every corner they took they kept losing either supplies or men to the wasteland. After a few years, they finally decided to settle down in Massachusetts, near the state border. Setting up a new base, new elected officials, and a new recruitment center for returning members of the Enclave. Things were looking good for a while with old Enclave troops finding and rejoining them, getting a good supply of food and water, and best of all, no one strong enough to take them down. All was going good, till they got word that the Brotherhood of Steel was in the region. Deciding that the Brotherhood was a threat to the newly built backup Enclave, they sent out troops to go and scout Boston in hopes of planning an attack on their old enemies.

Before you start, make sure you have the Solar Cannon and Prototype Gauss Rifle CC addon mods disabled for Amerca Rising 2 (Unless you own them, then disregard this) so you don’t run into problems later on.
