This Collection is designed to be a quick and comprehensive aid for new users of the Collection feature. This is not meant to be a guide, but rather a *reference sheet* that will lead you to guides, tools, and tips on Collection Curation.

The downloadable mods of this collection described below each have one or two specific settings in order to aid in understanding of how each setting is presented to the downloading user.
Why yes, most settings are either self-explanatory or explained elsewhere; however, it may help new Curators to see for themselves the function of each setting in the case they don't understand or to improve decision-making with mod rules, without having to download someone else's multiple gigabyte Collection for the same information.

#### Mod Settings:
What each mod in the collection is for (Note that Photo Mode, Vivid Weathers, Dave's Poses are not listed as their use is in the Tips / References index):
* __Armor and Weapons Keywords:__ How a FOMOD/mod with installer options appears with "Same Installer Options" rather than "Fresh Install".
* __Classic Holstered Weapons:__ How a mod that is Not Required appears.
* __Def UI:__ How a FOMOD/mod with installer options appears with "Fresh Install".
* __Fallout 4 Script Extender:__ Copying the website download link and pasting it into the "Direct Download" gives this result.
* __FO4Edit:__ How a tool downloaded from Nexus Mods appears to the user.
* __MiscHairstyles:__ How a mod with "Browse a Website" works and how the Instructions are displayed.
* __Bodyslide and Outfit Studio:__ How a utility mod which requires its own pathing (i.e.: game location) to be set by the user is displayed, as well as showing how a multiple phase Collection downloads.

* [Pixlr](https://pixlr.com/e/) is a  free, photo editing website that is great for editing images to fit for "Featured Image" and "Cover Image" 
- Try a few Mods to make In game screenshots for your 'Media' a bit easier: 
    - [Fo4 Photo Mode](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49997) is a great mod to take in-game screenshots with.
    - [Vivid Weather's](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49997) brings, of course, new weathers. What makes it worth including here though is that it also has a holotape to control what the current weather is, which makes for a great background.
    - Screenshots of your 3rd Person character can always benefit from a good pose mod, such as [Dave's Poses](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16800).
* [Collections Markdown](https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/cjadye?tab=Description) is a comprehensive guide on how to format your description such as the use of headers, bullet points, and line spacing.
* There is an official [Nexus Wiki](https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections) entirely about collections, extremely in depth for those who want great detail about each aspect of Collections.
* [Ezgif](https://ezgif.com/video-to-gif) is a useful website in converting video files into GIFs for embedding in your Collection description.
* [Imgur](https://imgur.com/) can be used to upload Images or GIFs in order to link them for embed here, however make sure that once your Image/GIF is posted there, you right-click and "Open Image In New Tab" and get the link from the new tab, as it is different from the one provided by Imgur which will not embed properly.

It is not pixel perfect, but here is a Clip Art template which roughly represents where the Collection Page will obscure the cover image, good for knowing where to put logos or such. The media attached above is a non-ClipArt version in 1920x1080.
