# ***Important - Requirements -  Installation***

#### The control scheme fixes for controller and kb&m included in this collection seem to interfere with each other, if you plan on using a specific game input please disable the necessary mod as guided below. 

- ###  **Controller Users**

Disable the "mouse controls for broom" mod and enable the "better broom control" mod 
- ###  **KB&M USERS**

 Disable the " better broom control" mod and enable the " mouse controls for broom" mod

## - **1**. Start with a fresh install of Hogwarts Legacy
 -  **2**. ***You need to create a Mods folder if you haven't already***, go to the following folder and create a folder named " **~mods** " when done should look as follows.

- **Steam**> Drive Letter\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks/~mods
- **GOG**> Drive Letter\GOGLibrary\Games\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks~mods
- **Epic**> Drive Letter\EpicLibrary\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\~mods



- ## **3**. Vortex
 **Once Vortex is installed** open the application and go to the games tab find **HOGWARTS LEGACY** ***select Manage*** . Now go to settings and uncheck **enable mods when installed** (in current profile) *this way the mods will download and install but you will be able to manually enable them.*
## - **4**. Install this collection.

## -  **5**.(A) ***Install Reshade.***  **(see below)**

- ## (B) Reshade can be found at https://reshade.me/ (Required)
### Reshade setup. Once Reshade is downloaded open the application select bowse then select hogwarts legacy exe (you can find the locations at the bottom of this description) then click next follow the steps when it asks for a preset locate the reshade preset you downloaded from Nexus this can be found in> ~mods folder (!!!Hogwarts Legacy Realism Overhaul 2023 Reshade) select this preset and you are good to go once in the game follow the onscreen instructions.

 - ## **6**.  Toggle HUD Can also be used at the same time as a reshade.

allows the game to run smoother( less stutter)

- ## Better Broom Control - IridiumIO - Gameplay Some people Like this Some people dont i set it to optioal until theres a better alternative
	The devs made weird broom controls, this simplifies them from two joysticks to only using the left joystick for all maneuvering

Same as previous mod but simplifies the broom controls for kb& m

changes the silver arrow broom from its default not even silver colorway to a better looking blacked out aesthetic

the pale skin options available aren't pale enough, not sure about other fans but i'm pale and didn't like what was available so this mod fixes that

- ## Polyjuice - awpsoleet - Tools and Utilities
Script extender and mod loader, isnt required by any of the mods in this current load order but will prove useful when larger mods come out and are added to this collection

- ## Puzzle Door Numbers and Answers - XxCRAZYPOTATOxX -Gameplay-
There are doors, this helps solve them. 
- ## ROR Upgrado (Room of Requirement) - BorisJohnsonLies - Gameplay - ALL IN ONE - Size: 2.0MB - Version: 2.0 
this mod has alot but isnt very big/ demanding resource wise so dont let it keep you away from the mod collection:) 

- ## Silencio - Floo Lady Silencer - TangerieDev - Audio-
Utilizes the dark arts to send floo's vocal cords to oblivion.

- ## Sorting hat - Sirgalahad172 - Clothing
replaces some ugly hat with The Sorting Hat you first encounter during the sorting ceremony. 

- ## The Wizard Spirit - Font - xBloodTigerx - User Interface-
fixes the developers laziness for UI creativity and makes the wizards games font " wizardlike? " 



- ## I play in 4k, utilizing this collections dlss 3.1 mod. i average 80fps at all high settings.

As far as i know there are no possible complications when installing another collection with this one. at the time im making this there are only a handful of mods available and an even smaller amount of collections available. I hope you enjoy/
