# Before you start
there are a few mods in this collection that require manual intervention
- Ascendio ( https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/69 ) is an installer and needs to be run manually.
- UnEquip Wand ( https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/166 ) requires a manual download from github. check the description page of that mod for the full details.
- More Colorful Reshade ( https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/195 ) is a Reshade and thus needs Reshade installed separately. Check the mod description for the full details.


That said ... I prefer to install all of these manually, rather than through vortex. Especially since some of the mods go to non-standard locations.


# Other Mods
I can also highly recommend the save game editor ( https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/77 ). I used it to change my house and to unlock all apparel cosmetic options (I want to be able to tell the tailor what i want to wear rather than having RNGesus tell me what i am allowed to).
