This collection aims to improve the base game kenshi experience without changing it in any way that affects gameplay. \

*I have made this collection because every other collection needs to showcase the kenshi nude mod and add changes to the gameplay which feel cheesy, bloated, unnecessary or just untrue to vanilla+ (although clearly in years prior to this collection Kenshi was not as fleshed out as it is in 2023).*\\

- After 100hrs of playing vanilla with DarkUI and BetterMap from steam workshop I decided to get into nexus mods for the first time after reading about optimisation mods and bug fixes from SCARaw's water optimiser mod on steam. I have tried to pick the best mods for this but I would appreciate advice if any mods are outdated, not working or if there is a mod you think is missing from this pack which would improve the experience.

# Before you start

The mods listed as UNREQUIRED should be INSTALLED SEPARATELY, AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS, FROM THE MOD AUTHORS PAGE as they require additional steps for them to actually affect the game as intended. It is highly recommended to install the unrequired mods however if you chose not to install them you should be able to play the game and enjoy all the features and some of the optimisation.

The raw essentials for an optimized and improved base game experience. Without any changes to gameplay or progression. Add the other mods yourself, this pack should be stable. IMPORTANT: DO NOT INSTALL OPTIONAL MODS, SEE 'BEFORE YOU START'.

Swapped Scar standard pathing to the scar pathing vanilla
due to agonising swamp pathing and general problems with pathing through shallow water&#x20;
should improve general experience and reliability, consistency of hands off gameplay (shallow water makes you move at like 3mph and having your people walk into it for no good reason often kills them, also going off road means the pathing is more likely to bug and your characters just freeze)
