## ICE Companion Mods

Decided to make this cause it seems people think they have to include all kinds of unnecessary gameplay and model/texture changes to their collections. Plus for those of us who are playing again with ICE installed, you don't want to have your mod screw up due to the inclusion of Stracker's Loader and the various tick/performance mods that'd usually go with it.

# Before you start

**Requirements**

- [ICE Manager](https://github.com/AsteriskAmpersand/Ice-Stable/releases) - For more information, please refer to their [installation guide](https://github.com/AsteriskAmpersand/Ice-Stable#ice-manager)
- [Stracker's Loader](https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1982/) - Do NOT install with Vortex. You need just this mod ONLY. Lastly, do NOT install the Tick Rate or Performance mods! ICE will modify/move Stracker's Loader for its own needs and it already has any performance mods included.

**Some Known Bugs and Possible Fixes**

- *ICE Save Cannot Be Found!* - Use the ICE Manager to import your saves. You may need to run the program with admin rights to do so. If THAT doesn't work, then you will have to find your save file (SAVEDATA1000), make a copy, and rename it to SAVEDATA\_ICE.
- *My mods are not working!* - Make sure to import your mods using ICE Manager. Alternatively, you can use a symlink to point ICE/ntPC to nativePC found in MHW base directory.

# Customizable Mods

- **Custom FOV** - Find and open CustomFOV.toml in Notepad to customize the game's FOV and camera distance to your liking. By default the values are for any 16:9 display.
