VLK TTW

VLK TTW - The red crystals are glowing! The blue path lights are also fully functional! The green radioactive muck now glows!

Vanilla - The pathlights just have a bright texture. They don't actually emit light.

VLK TTW - Looting bobbleheads, snow globes, the Platinum Chip, and other unique items or quest items will play unique animations!

VLK TTW - There are some small side quests to clean up and fix the Springvale (Red Rocket Gas Station) Garage and turn it into a player home.

VLK TTW - You can have multiple backup autosaves. Vanilla only allows 1. You can also sort your saves by character instead of all saves being jumbled.

VLK TTW - An optional Auto Item Collector automatically loots useful items, such as currency, ammo, aid items, and etc. (Configurable)

VLK TTW - Take the train from the Capital Wasteland to the Mojave Wasteland or vice versa!

VLK TTW - You now actually look like a headshot patient.

Vanilla

VLK TTW - It can now rain in the Capital Wasteland and the Mojave Wasteland instead of only in Zion Canyon (Honest Hearts)! And the rain is 3D!

VLK TTW - Explosives emit light. This is from a Holy Frag Grenade (mini-nuke). And yes, mini-nuke explosions do slowly form into mushroom clouds.

Vanilla - No explosives emit light.

VLK TTW - In vanilla VATS shows bullet travel in killcams, but in VLK NNV guns TRULY have bullet velocity in gameplay! (Light, but noticeable).

VLK TTW - Bullets and mags are added into the game and stay on the ground for a period of time to TRULY show the aftermath of a battle!

VLK TTW - Crystal clear! Damage and DPS are shown simultaneously. Item condition is shown numerically. "I" is set as a hotkey to access inventory.

Vanilla - Low resolution and less information. Also the spacing is not optimally laid out. There is no hotkey for inventory in vanilla.

VLK TTW - The world map is a 4k texture, so it's crystal clear. The "M" Key is also set as a hot key to open the world map.

Vanilla - The world map is low resolution, and there is no hotkey to bring up the world map.

VLK TTW - Again, this is crystal clear including icons. Perks are separated into different categories to make them easier to find.

Vanilla - Everything is low resolution and perks are not categorized.

VLK TTW - Look at that laser pistol! Campfires also light on fire when you use them. (An auto-distance focusing effect is applied in this image).

Vanilla - Bland laser pistol. Campfires are never lit, even if you cook something on them.

VLK TTW - Most of the objects which should be reasonably noticed are rendered at a distance (with optimized frame rates to not hinder gameplay).

Vanilla - The tents only pop into existence when you practically touch them (among countless other objects throughout the game)...

VLK TTW - Special Nuka Colas actually glow.

VLK TTW - Many Aid items are fully animated, with drinks actually having a draining liquid. In vanilla none have animations.

VLK TTW - The liquid drains as you drink from the bottle (only for some items. More to come soon hopefully!).

VLK TTW - Glass is actually see-through. (For the purposes of these indoor images, the pip-boy light is turned off to show off the atmosphere).

Vanilla - Hmm... a glass door. I can't see what's on the other side. Let's open it!

VLK TTW - Glowing ones ACTUALLY GLOW!

VLK TTW - Nuka Cola machines emit light!

VLK TTW - MANY gameplay enhancements. Damage numbers and healing numbers, hit markers, dynamic crosshairs, "G" to throw throwables, and much more.

VLK TTW - REAL-TIME LOOT MENU! Optional Item Collector! Automatically loot useful items, such as currency, ammo, aid items, and etc. (Adjustable).

VLK TTW - Night sky is absolutely incredible.

VLK TTW - Even zoomed in at maximum zoom level, the moon still is incredibly high resolution! Weapons have ACTUAL scopes instead of just a UI!

VLK TTW - True god-rays! Look at the rays of shadow and light around the rifle from the light of the moon!

VLK TTW - When you have power armor equipped, you get this Pip-Boy screen instead! Also, Power armor has better sounds to FEEL like power armor!

VLK TTW - Immersive backpacks! They can randomly spawn on NPCs and there's many variations, such as NCR backpacks, Legion backpacks, and etc.

VLK TTW - An optional Portable Cheat Terminal is included. This allows you to easily add/remove perks, adjust skills, specials, add XP, and much more.

VLK TTW - All DLC companions can become companions after their DLCs! There's also a door to return to the Sierra Madre to do this with Dead Money.

VLK TTW - Freeside more populated and filled! The lighting and textures are much better!

Vanilla - The lighting and all textures are worse.

VLK TTW - The Strip is all one immersive worldspace! Lighting and textures are more realistic. (An auto-distancing focus effect is applied)

Vanilla - The strip is 3 separate sections with loading screens.

VLK TTW - Glowy robot eyes! Now THIS looks like a vault!

VLK TTW - Time to make the delivery.

VLK TTW - Underwater visuals without proper headwear, such as just a hat. (Notice the blur)

Vanilla - Are we underwater or is this a sandstorm?

VLK TTW - Dozens of new weapons! Most of which are recreated from classic Fallout games, and so they are naturally lore-friendly.

VLK TTW - Zion Canyon is BEAUTIFUL!

Vanilla - Zion Canyon is... aight...

VLK TTW - Sierra Madre is more natural in feeling. Also, holograms emit light! (Can't see in this image)

VLK TTW - Radiation is shown in decimals. Riot helmets actually emit light.

VLK TTW - You can wear the Legate's armor! And you can continue playing the game after the ending with changes throughout the wasteland!
