# Before you start

*Make sure you have all the dlcs.*

*Follow instructions in Vortex before install, if you have never played NV before, run the game first time with no mods, save & exit, then install the collection.*

If you are having texture problems with the male body:

&#x20;     Go to settings on vortex and select BSA redirect under workarounds.

&#x20;     Disable the male body mods and then disable "vortex archive invalidation" on your mod list.&#x20;

&#x20;     Enable the male body mods again and then enable vortex archive, that should fix it.

Make sure you are running Fallout Character Overhaul 2.3.1, not the new versions.

PS: The new AMD driver updates cause the game having missing textures, to solve that problem, go to [Nvidia d3d9 perf fix at Fallout New Vegas - mods and community (nexusmods.com)](https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34778) and manually download the file, drop it into your main game folder for a fix.

Then you should be good to go.
