# Main features

\*M.A.D. includes: \*

- An unforgiving but satisfying to use realistic damage system that removes most bullet sponges from the game completely- but it makes you just as vulnerable as your enemies.
- An improved experience overall with better animations, quality of life changes, and improvements in graphics and voices.
- Many, many more enemies, both lore following and lore breaking as this hardly classifies as the same world as Fallout.
- A modified NCR and overhauled Legion, making them exaggerations of what they were.
- Cut content from the original Fallout: New Vegas plans.
- And more!

Unfortunately, I'm not a professional, this is just my modlist, which is subject to modification. This means there are a few noticeable bugs and behavior issues, with one of the major ones that I personally noticed being NPCs (sometimes mildly important ones like The Lonesome Drifter) being quick to fight you if you fire a gun near them.

# Before you start

**Requirements**

- *All mods are included. It requires all DLCs, however. GRA, OWB, LR, HH, and DM, with Courier's Stash being optional but still recommended.*

**Best practices**

- *I really, really don't recommend a melee build. This modpack is very hard and a bit unbalanced, with an emphasis on chaos and run n' gun gameplay. For that reason, I also recommend turning off VATS, but I left it optional.*
- *The cheat terminal isn't an accident, don't feel ashamed to use it.*
- *I recommend playing on Very Hard. The modpack is hard in general, but good armor can make it a total cakewalk. I haven't tested everything completely and frankly I just enjoy not using armor.*

# Recommended specs

- My computer runs this generally fine and it has 8GB RAM and a GTX 1030 GPU. Even if it's slightly worse than mine, your computer should run it fine.
