*This is a collection for noobs likes me who don't want to learn "real" mod management with Wrye Bash, and just want some relatively basic improvements to modernize Oblivion and enhance immersion a little bit.*

# Before you start

**Requirements**

- *Run *[*4GB RAM Patcher*](https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45576)* first before installing this collection. Read the instructions on the 4G RAM Patcher page.*

**Best practices**

- *Start from a clean install*
- *This collection was created incrementally starting from a clean Steam install, installed in the default location (within Program Files), which is apparently not recommended but it seemed fine for me.*
- If Vortex asks you to "fix loose files", you should ignore it. If you do "fix" them, uninstall and then re-install the texture pack.
- If Vortex reports a "script extender plugin errors", you can ignore it.
