### The "UE4SS Signatures mods" may require you to copy and paste the signatures, or to edit the folder structure implemented by Vortex, please check their install location and cross reference the install paths mentioned by \*[UE4SS Signatures](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/469) or other mods mentioned, please read thoroughly.

Add these lines to your launch options in steam and vortex, copy without the quotation marks.

### Important

"One of a Kind" Main Mod Download will need to be set to Engine Injector as the mod type in Vortex with the correct file folder path to "LogicMods". - ie. the folders "Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods" will need to be created in the vortex mod, by right clicking on it and "opening with file explorer"; then the folders created, and the mod will need to be put in the last "LogicMods" folder and deployed to function.

### Important

[Dek's Mod Config Menu](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/577) and [Reset Stats](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/103) needs to be set to engine injector as the mod type; installing it through vortex may corrupt the file outputs and paths as it *correctly identifies them as a blueprint mods, but installs them to the incorrect file output paths for the mods to function,* **and rips the scripts and enabled.txt from their correct respective output paths in the mod authors intended file structure**. Right click on the mod after setting it to engine injector so the output path is palworld\\, then ensure the file output path is correct as mentioned here  - [Mod Config Menu](https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/577?tab=files) - use the preview file contents under the download button as a reference for file folder structure

### **Best practices**-&#x20;

[*Engine.ini settings*](https://pastebin.com/9QHVgba1)\* and Mods that require configuring, please do so to your preferences; should you plan to have others join you in co-op, make sure they have the same settings and configurations applied.

- The Engine.ini Configs Provided Outside of the "RT" dramatically increase the stability of the game, graphic configs in game are to the desired performance and quality of the user; with that said, if you opt for RT it will obviously look better with shadows set higher and if you manually tweak your "GameUserSettings" found in the same file folder path as your Engine.ini. ie. "AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\Config\Windows". I would Recommend Increasing the "sg.GlobalIlluminationQuality", "sg.ReflectionQuality", and setting both your engine.ini file and gameusersettings.ini to READ ONLY. You'll be able to change things in game to test different settings and then they'll always revert to the read only upon reboot. Otherwise GlobalIllumination will always revert to 0 when adjusting other settings such as shadows when done through the in game settings gui.

- GPU - Anything capable of running this Monster, The [*Engine.ini configs provided*](https://pastebin.com/9QHVgba1) through the link are sectioned and assume at least 8gb's of VRAM; but the max can be configured to your own under "r.Streaming.PoolSize=8192". SystemSettings/Optimizations are just that, copy them in to your own Engine.ini to receive many engine optimizations. Engine.RenderSettings/RT/Lumen/Nanite are all more demanding Lighting, reflection and RayTracing FX, but substantially increase the graphical fidelity of the game while maintaining performance and stability above all else. Copy them if you feel you have the headroom. Other Engine.ini Optimizations Provided, Copy them all. All Engine.ini tweaks are recommended, only the RayTracing section is considered truly optional.-&#x20;
