Desert Empire Company Goods is a redux of my original Whiskey Smoke mod, greatly simplified and works for both pre and post Next Gen. Crafting of alcohols, smokables, and more but also a settlement farming mod to help obtain the materials needed. No longer requires Desperados Overhaul, and works with all landscapes.

Claim the Hotel Rexford as your own full player settlement, just walk up to the workshop bench, done. Rexford has vanilla quests and other non-assignable NPCs, so this working player settlement will likely always be version 0.9. See below for caveats. Images are with Sin Cities preset Reshade.

This will allow Reshade users to add a heat haze/shimmer fx typically seen on any hot day as the heat radiates from the ground or objects. This .fx file uses depth so it covers only a distant portion of the screen! The stand alone preset is optional, which uses only the .fx file anyway.
