LCD is an ongoing project that remakes the worst of the vanilla textures in HD. Designed to be completely immersive and lore-friendly, without breaking the style of Dark Souls.

The painting entrance to the Painted World is actually quite low-res despite being huge and important. This mod upscales that painting to 2k and 4k, and adds high resolution oil paint and canvas filters to hide the blur. As a result, the painting looks more like a painting and is higher quality up close.

Some trees, for some people, are stuck using lod textures that are very low resolution. It's noticeable wherever dark green trees are present. This mod fixes the issues and returns the trees to their normal resolution.

I often play a mage character, and the low-resolution vanilla staves were annoying me. These textures affect all three generic colorations of standard mage staves. In other words, it will affect most staves in the game.

Skyrim's lod textures look flat and just unreal by default. This is a texture replacer for distant terrain and lod trees, which greatly increases realism with absolutely no performance drop on any PC. This mod overhauls many aspects of the LoD, and supports Skyrim's DLC.

There\'s a bug where Alduin\'s Stormcall sound effect can play forever, until you start a new game. Since this was breaking the game for a few people, I created this mod to fix it. It\'ll make Alduin\'s Stormcall silent, but that\'s a minor price to pay for keeping your save.
