As a shout out check out the following NEWLY UPDATED mod: [BOSTON AFTER VAULT](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78185) by [musaimaan33](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/188701320) This is a new hardcore immersive survival mod with lots of features in 1 plugin that will save you 10-20 mod slots from separate similar mods. As always I recommend testing out mods like this extensively before adding it to your perminant load order as it may conflict with many mods if they have similar changes. As a side note, there is a lighter version under "old files" with the following changes:

1\. Only New Vault Suits got a small increase in damage resistance to make it viable longer (for those who like the look or use texture mods for vault suits). \[x10 Dam Res, X15 Rad Res]. 2\. Slight (I mean slight) increase in AP, only because in real life bogged down with hunting gear, I can still run longer than 5 seconds before gasping for breath. 3\. No extra health during level ups. 4\. Adrenaline bonus only goes toward melee in (survival mode only). 5\. Legendary enemies no longer spawn so much less legendary items will be received. 6\. Carry weight increases by 5 points for each strength point. 7\. All difficulties have 1x incoming and outgoing damage multipliers. \*per mod author you should be able to change by loading a damage multiplier mod after was just done so incoming/outgoing damage is the same. 8\. Loot reduction has been implemented along with ammo reduction. 9\. Useless junk has been added to containers for immersion. 10\. Creatures now contain only what would be on creatures Meat, Bone, and Hide. 11\. Ghouls will have very little to no loot to take. 12\. Water and food no longer heal only reduce/remove hunger/thirst. 13\. Water pumps will only give dirty water. 14\. Wild fruits/vegetables will give proper food (E.g. Wild corn gives Corn). 15\. Live Dismemberment activated (Meaning shoot off a leg enemy falls, but can still keep shooting). 16\. Overhaul works on all difficulties, but was made and tested on Survival Mode and Very Easy Mode. 17\. De-leveled Npcs, Creatures, Items, Armor, Guns, Meds, Ammo, and Etc. 18\. Removed all Unrealistic and Magical S.P.E.C.I.A.L boosts from all clothing items in Commonwealth, Far Harbor, Automatron, and Nuka World. (will be adding support for the Next-Gen update ASAP! 29\. 99.5% of foods require 1-3 wood to be cooked. 20\. New Aid Item called Vault-Tec Rewind for Survival Saving.

My old profile is here: I am working my way thru every mod for Fallout 4 at the moment. I am all about MY OWN PERSONAL IMMERSION. And though this is very close to "immersion" as most people mean, its about me losing myself in the game as an alternative to reality and doesnt have to be literally as 100% realistic as possible, it is a game after all. For this reason I will not even consider mods with CTD reports (unless obviously mod conflicts) or with more than 1-2 bugs (and must be minor bugs/ mod conflict bugs not affecting my load order). I'm sure this will take a few months as it did when I modded FO4 but seeing as I have 3000+ hours into a single FO4 playthrough with ZERO CTDs or noticeable bugs all while using 250+ mods, I think I know what I am doing. That said I place no judgement on people who use things like SKY UI/ SKSE64 etc. as I know tons of people do, but I just wont do it. Nothing messes with me more than being totally immersed in a game for several hours just to have it crash. It makes me not want to play at all. And while i prefer and recommend NEXUS over Steam for modding, the following is a steam post someone else wrote that best sums up my feelings about SKSE and why I will never use it again: I understand that some people love constantly tweaking and modding their game, for them that IS or has Become the game. But I prefer to spend a lot of time at the front end creating the "perfectly" modded game including whatever tweaking and testing needs to happen and then (for the most part) JUST PLAY THE GAME for a Very long time, adding very few more mods. So anyone who sees a comment I have made and disagrees with me, that's fine. I play my game how I want to, you play yours how you want to. But maybe now you understand me a little better and don't just think I'm a troll or a hater. I have played and "beaten" Skyrim 6 times since it was released in 2012 each playthru lasting over 1000 hours and have played thru all the DLCs on most of those. i have played thru Fallout 4 on three different play thrus with one lasting well over 1000 hours and my most recent being over 3000 hours. To the other people on the nexus im sure this is no great accomplishment, however i feel its important if you visit my page, view my images or converse with me that you understand i am not new to this. I respect anyone who is respectful to the community and tend to get irked by those who act self-entitled when it comes to mod authors. Most of them do this for free. Don't be a jerk. I'm a 40+ yr old American Living in the north east-ish United states with my wife our dogs and cats and a horse for anyone curious. I didn't get into playing modded games until 2018 and may one day start making mods myself, though real life and the hopes of one day being a successful graphic novelist will hopefully interfere with that. SKYRIM MOD Concept 1. **Ghost followers**(pokemon + soul gems) - weapon or item that when kill npcs, mechanic similar to making soul gems, captures the dead character and makes them a follower ghost (one would assume the implementation would be to change npc into a follower and change look to the ghost effect the game uses for ghosts, could be further made immersive by making it so the game tracks who you have put in various soul gems and you would summon them by destroying the gem- possibly you would then keep them as a follower til they died and or you chose to release them but they wouldn't be able to go back to being in the soul gem as it was destroyed?) SKYRIM MOD Concept 2. **Sign Maker**. one of the things I liked to do in fallout 4 that helped personalize the game was to makes signs etc. using their letters in workshop mode. Now I know Skyrim doesnt have a workshop mode but I feel like this could be done with the right assets and console commands (you could do everything the workshop mode does with console commands in fallout 4, the workshop mode was just an easy to use UI). I searched the mods and didn't find anything like this so I decided to put it here. If you added the assets (small tiles with A-Z etc.) and used console commands to place and move could you not then spell out stuff like "here lies M'aiq the Liar" or label a chest "my weapons" etc.??? it was just such a useful tool in the game and I'm very surprised that this was not (could not???) be done in Skyrim
