Quintessential Mod List

Description

These are mods that are required for modding, fixing many bugs and whatnot, or are required by many popular mods so it'd be easier to just install now than later. They are the basis for any modded Skyrim playthrough and should be easy and simple to understand, hopefully.

Before you start

SKSE is almost always required for a modded Skyrim. Both Nemesis and FNIS will work, so you can still choose. These are the mods in the load order that require manual installation rather than mod manager download:

Requirements

These are the base essentials for Skyrim modding. No high end computers or 3070's are required. These will work on anything as they are the most simple and base mods for Skyrim.

Compatible collections

Any collection really works unless it includes the same mods here. Most probably will because they also include essential mods in their load orders.
