\*Your family have been merchants and traders in Elsweyr for generations. With the exception of an eccentric uncle who departed years ago, whom the family never discusses,  the males in your clan have followed the mercantile path in life. But the shopkeepers life is not for you. Your desire to learn magic is strong and the College of Winterhold  in Skyrim beckons you. However, a journey through such a cold, hard land is filled with dangers. A civil war is raging, bandits, rogues and assassins bedevil the holds and mighty dragons roam the skies. The undead have risen in great numbers and have become a plague on the land. It all seems impossibly overwhelming. You're about to give up your heart's desire to become an accomplished Mage when, the next day, a package arrives for you with a small brass-hued metal cube inside and a note ... \*

# Main features

\*This collection focuses on the Khajiit race, the use of magic and it's intended that you, the player, will be a Khajiit. You are free of course to play this collection any way you see fit. Completing College of Winterhold magic quests, while not strictly necessary, will greatly help your character develop. I've tweaked the mod load to increase the difficultly levels of enemies across the board. Be prepared to fight, to run away if necessary and use strategy to complete quests. To aid your character I've added 3 Khajiit followers, a ranger type, a two-handed sword user and a bard/mage. I've curated a large list of dungeons and other areas to explore without adding "everything and the kitchen sink". Ie; Bruma is not on the list currently. There is a slight slant towards exploring Dwemer ruins. This collection uses the Dragonstone mod so that you can skip the Dragonborn story line entirely if you wish and just play as a "free agent". Be sure to check out all the options you can configure in Dragonstone as well as the other mod MCM menus to tweak the game to your liking. Dragons will still spawn to be fought. The result is a manageable download, very good stability and hours upon hours of game play. I hope you enjoy this collection.  \*

# Before you start

First, I'm building this into a full-fledged quest complete with backstory but that will take some time. It's completely playable now as is. The "note" in the description (which doesn't exist in-game yet) would be from your uncle who knew that you had the same wanderlust in you that he had. He urges you to follow your heart ...

This collection should be playable on any decent modern system (see my specs below). Just load it up and go. If you want to tweak anything, SSEEdit, xLODgen and Creation Kit are all that's needed and are completely optional.

I will be adding more screenshots over time as well.

I used only RAID Weathers: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/63116 No ENB. No ReShade. I found the RAID weather environment to be completely to my liking with installing only Mists of Tamriel: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/78703 and Dynamic Gamma: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/92639 along with a couple of configuration files (see mod order). I use Imaginator: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4577 only to adjust the contrast and brightness on my monitor to better suit my eyes. The graphics are very stable with these weather mods on my system.

This collection uses Steam Skyrim AE 1.6.1170 with Creation Club content. I developed and play on Windows 10 Home 64-bit with the following hardware:
