After spending hours on trying to fix several issues, I resign.
I drop the support for this collection / aka for GOG, it worked well for me though, but since I now have SSE on steam, it'll be easier "over there"... by a lot...
It worked for me, it might for you.. idk.. no longer care.

This collection is designed and optimized for Skyrim SE on GOG, it will NOT work for Steam or Epic versions of the game!

Best used with a rig similar to this (or better, obviously):

CPU:  i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (from 2017)

[Performance Report]()

Skyrim Video Settings: High (NOT extreme)

- This collection uses 5.8 - 7.5 GB VRAM, and about 7-12 GB RAM.
- CPU load is 30 (idle) - 60 (combat) %
- GPU load is ~50 (idle) - 90 (combat/city/fog) %
- GPU Temp is 36°C when idle, tops at 49°C when combat and/or flying.

Also the FPS are locked to 50 FPS, yes 60 would be more sweet, but for one the 57 was disturbing me and for two there are occasional (rare) drops to 45'ish, which are not as noticible/extreme from 50 as they were from 60.

While I focused on visual improvements and immersion (ENB, HD textures & other overhauls), its also a skimpy to kinky oriented gameplay (optional).

Also, I'm playing a Vampire, so quite a few mods are focused on that.

# [Installation Instructions:]()

- Prepare Vortex to handle profiles
- If you dont know how, please see my [Steam Guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818521483) - Its for FO4, but I'm sure you reckognize the required changes.
- Make sure you have the proper SKSE for GOG !
- Create a new Profile, name it something like "GOG CBBE Basic"
- Enable that new profile
- Make sure to disable "FNIS autorun" (default is off anyway)
- Install ENB as described below
- Hit the "Add to Vortex" button.
- Wait (premium) or click (free user ; its Nexus, not me)
- Enjoy
- Please see "Notes" for more important details.

I dont want to miss ENB, I consider this a must have.

This said, you will have graphical glitches and weird lighting without it!

Also, I like to play dark (dungeons), that is 100% intentional. Bring that torch with you or be a vampire! There are neither sunlight nor windows in caves!

- ENB
    - Download ENB from [enbdev.com](http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrimse.html)
    - Get the latest version (0.483 while writing)
    - Open the zipfile: enbseries_skyrimse_v0483.zip
    - Change to dir "WrapperVersion"
    - Copy all content into the BaseGameDir (where the exe is)
- ENB Profile:
    - Download: [Silent Horizon ENB preset](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21543)
    - Open file: A) Silent Horizons ENB for Obsidian Weathers-21543-7-1-1587128823.7z
    - Change dir: Silent Horizons 7.1 Obsidian Weathers
    - Copy both files and the dir into the BaseGameDir (where the exe is)
    - Change dir back and into ***-- Optional --***
    - Go into Subdir: Stylization Suite Addon
    - And copy the dir "enbseries" into your BaseGameDir
    - Go into Subdir: Depth of Field Configs\2 - Light\
    - And copy the dir "enbseries" into your BaseGameDir

Collection INI setup, please verify the following values are set, if not, please apply them and report that they are missing.

- Disable Native Skyrim Screenshot, because we're using ENB
    - Open ***%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition***
    - Open Skyrim.ini
    - Under [Display]
    - Change: **bAllowScreenshot=1** (obsolete, but we do it anyway)
    - Add: **sScreenShotBaseName=?** (this will prevent the game from creating a file, because '?' is an invalid name)
- Add: **fLightLODRange=50000** (this has nothing to do with screenshot)

- Adding more armor/cloth mods
    - While you can do so, be sure to build for ***- Zeroed Sliders -*** - do NOT batch build if you want to preserve the Skimpy prebuilts.
- If you dont use my Skimpy Prebuilts, still (in this case you could batch-) build with ***- Zeroed Sliders -*** or AutoBody will break all bodies
- Animations
- Animations come prebuilt with the Collection settings, ***no need*** to run FNIS!
- Unless you add some more, in which case you should use "Keep Newer" when asked
- Body
- I'm using AutoBody for the collection with my own body presets from/with/for CBBE
- If you want more/different body variations, please send me:
- a link of the mod for the CBBE body presets
- provide a list which body for which race
- if you do so, I'll happily do the according adjustment and update the collection
- but I *will* ignore any plain request on that matter that does not provide the 2 things listed above.
- Wings
    - Craft the "Rite of Wings" spell tome at a forge
- Follow the procedure
- Flying
    - Check the MCM settings of "Animated Wings Ultimate"
- ***Alternative:*** Search for Magic Scroll vendors, they might have the according spells available

# [F.A.Q / Known Issues:]()

[Visuals:]()

- Can I ignore ENB?
    - I dont know, the collection makes heavy use of ENB oriented mods - and/or their set up according to ENB, you may try, but I will not help you!
- Sometimes lights are rendered weird.
- I'm aware of that, its still my first playthrough and I've already spent more time on this topic than I'm willing to admit. - I blame Skyrim Engine :D (its still a TODO for 2nd playthrough though, dont worry)
- My bodies gets all "dark"?!
- Get out of TFC / F11, or at least change the angle.
- Female breast glitch through clothes 
    - Just restart game, that will fix it. Havent figured out yet what is causing this.
- Warpaints / Body Tatoo
- For some reason, Body Tatoo and Body Warpaints do not work with the GOG version of the game, at least I havent figured out why they did not work for me.
- I've had no errors, it just was not shown (on the body, but they were listed in the list to choose from). None of those I've tried, like 5 differnt mods of different mod authors.
- Face, Hands and Feed seem to work though.

- I want to add an OSA related mod, why didnt you?
    - Because there were no GOG compatible versions available when I made this collection.
- Why dont you have CBPC or SMP?
- Because they are not compatible (with the SKSE GOG binary, or chain) at the time of creating this collection.
- Its a bit too skimpy for me.
- No problem, just disable "[Settings] CBBE Presets" and do a batchbuild on Zeroed Sliders in BodySlide, if that is still to extreme for you, disable "Remodeled Armor CBBE SSE" as well, both are optional.
That said, here's the place to say, a game and reality are different. What I like in games, is not what I like in reality.

First of all, make sure you have about the same rig as I do (top).

- Press shift+enter while ingame and set the FPS lock to 30. Save changes! --> On Redeploy: "keep newer file"

GOG CBBE Basic (depricated)
