This is a small collection of mods which provide VR  users a way to use console commands in game without having to take their headset off. The intended purpose is to provide a set of tools for testing mods and collections, not to provide ways to cheat whilst in game. My recommendation would be to disable the tools once you have finished testing, the only console command which I would recommend keeping available is the TCL command as sometimes you can get stuck on terrain meshes with no way to escape without reloading a save.

Included Tools:

Optional Quick Start SE - This allows you to skip the introduction and start at the exit from Helgen, this will not break any quests and makes starting a new test save much more efficient.

The Rings of Rapidity - These are not a console tool, but they are very useful when testing mods or collections, as they allow to travel very quickly across the map when fast travel isn't enabled or you are not sure of the correct COC name for the location. They are located in a small box behind the tree next to the Guardian Stones. If you wear the fastest ring you can travel from one side of the map to the other in about 60 seconds - but toggle TGM on first or you are going to die. Also your graphics card may go into meltdown...

Cheat Jewellery - this simply adds a collection of amulets, circlets and rings to your inventory which allow you to toggle collision, god mode and free camera by equipping or unequipping the items. Don't use the free camera toggle in VR as you will definitely crash the game (if you want to get a free camera view - toggle TCL and put on one of the Rings of Rapidity - you can then fly in whatever direction you are looking). If they don't appear in your inventory or you lose them - there is a power to create some more.

Cheat Powers - this adds a much larger list of common console commands as spells. It already includes the three commands from Cheat Jewellery, so you you can disable that if you'd prefer to use spells instead. This allows you to level up, add perks, spells and shouts etc. It is really useful if you want to test higher level mods and/or abilities etc.

Skyrim Cheat Engine: This adds a power which will bring up a menu where you can add items and NPC's into the game. It lists everything in the game including from mods but the VR version doesn't have a search or filtering option so it can take quite a while to find what you are after. They are not listed in alphabetical order either but It is really handy for testing out equipment or specific NPC's/creatures etc.

Save and Execute Console Commands - this allows you to type in and save five separate lists of console commands using the MCM menu, which can then be opened by activating a power. You can then choose which command you want to execute from the list. This is really useful for more complex commands like: coc riverwood, set timescale to 10 or player.placeatme 0002EBE2 12 (I mean who doesn't need more goats in their lives?) - which aren't available in the simpler tools. To store a command click on set command, type it in, click done, click on save command - then repeat - once finished enable the Command Spell Toggle for that list. You can also export your commands and reimport them into a new save. Lazy Renamer LITE - Not a console tool per se but it allows you to rename up to 512 items and/or NPC's in game. This can be useful if you are are testing a large number of similar items and/or NPC's and you want to keep track of which one is which - you can also give NPC's inappropriately rude names if you feel that way inclined. The names will be reloaded when you load the save. You can also un-name things and removing the mod will restore the original names, probably...

You obviously need to have all of the mod requirements installed including [SKSE-VR](https://skse.silverlock.org/beta/sksevr_2_00_12.7z), [SKYUI-VR](https://github.com/Odie/skyui-vr/releases/download/v1.2.1/SkyUI.v1.2.1.7z), [Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable](https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe) and the [UILIB_1 for VR patch](https://github.com/mrowrpurr/UILIB_1_ShowTextInput_with_VR_support/releases/download/1.0/UILIB_1_ShowTextInput_with_VR_support.7z). In terms of load order you need to make sure that Save and Execute Console Commands and Lazy Renamer LITE load before Skyrim Cheat Engine (which provides SkyUILib), which should in turn be overwritten by the UILIB_1 for VR patch (which opens VR Keyboard when called).

There are two other tools which are worth mentioning, especially if you don't have room for any more .esp's in your load order - they are both third party apps which you can buy on Steam and provide alternative ways to run console commands in VR. The first is [FPSVR](https://store.steampowered.com/app/908520/fpsVR/) which is primarily a performance monitor/overlay app - but it provides the ability to assign keys to 16 buttons which you can then use to run simple commands like TGM and TCL etc. You will obviously need to include the ` and Enter keys in order to be able to open the console, run the command and close the console again. You do however initially have to assign the keys using the physical keyboard.


The other app is [Voice Attack](https://store.steampowered.com/app/583010/VoiceAttack/) which allows you to use your voice to run console commands. In order for this to work you need to first train the Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine to understand your voice - but once you have done this you can assign strings of keys and/or text input to specific voice commands (again you have to do this on a physical keyboard initially - but you can type in text using the virtual keyboard). When you issue the command it opens the console, runs the command and shuts the console again. I found that putting an 0.1ms pause in between each command made it much more reliable than running them all instantly. You can have different command profiles for different games and store as many commands as you want. There is also a free demo version available on Steam which allows you to store up to 20 commands in a single profile - so you can try before you buy.

Loot may throw up messages about compatibility patches not being installed if you merge any of these - but they will still work as expected. If you manage to free up some space you may foolishly be tempted to go down the dark rabbit hole that is DynDOLOD.
