# LuV 0 : ENB

This collection contains all ENB, light, paralax and grass collision related mods.

If you despise ENB, you can skip the manual steps below, keep all paralax and gras collision disabled and will need to reinstall Embers, ELFX and all LUX related mods with changed options.

However, the collection as a whole is built upon ENB and relies on all files that are listed below.

# Manual Installation - Part 1:

You must install ENB (and the preset, part 2) prior to hitting the "Add to Vortex" button.

- Visit: [http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrimse.html](http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrimse.html)
- Click: v0.488 or any higher version
- Scroll down
- Click on the "Square with pixel arrow in it" to download it (be aware, there's an advertisment labeled 'Download' just below the actual download button)
- Open "enbseries_skyrimse_v0488.zip"
- Browse: "WrapperVersion"
- Select everything - but NOT "enbsunsprite.bmp"
- Drag & Drop to your Skyrim installation directory (where the exe files are)
- If you accidently installed the collection first, do NOT overwrite files!

# Manual Installation - Part 2:

With the current revision you can skip this step, as I've included this now in the collection.
It should work...

But just in case it does not, I keep the instructions available for now.

Now that we have ENB, we're downloading the ENB Preset - Silent Horizon.

All steps are required, yes, the folder of the ENB is called optional, but it is mandatory for *this* setup!

- Download: **A) Silent Horizons ENB for Obsidian Weathers**
- Open GameDir folder (so you 'see' the skse64_launcher.exe)
- Open the downloaded 7z
- Browse: Silent Horizons 7.1 Obsidian Weathers\
- Copy-Paste all content to GameDir
- Browse back to root
- Browse: -- Optional --\Depth of Field Configs\5 - The world of bokeh - Type 1\
- Copy-Paste: the folder enbseries to GameDir
- Browse back to root
- Browse: -- Optional --\RevoLUTion Addon\
- Copy-Paste: the folder enbseries to GameDir

# Optionals:

There are some optional files/mods, basicly: paralax, grass collision, my ENB fps 30 limiter and the vampiric brighter nights variant.

Just disable the FPS limiters and you'll be back to 240 fps, but I dont like having more than 30 fps because my GPU (fan) is going 373 Jet-Turbines when over 60°C.

But there is another catch to it as well, if you play with the landscape module, you might get FPS drops, fallling from 30 to 28 is less intrusive than falling to 28 from 60, at least that is my opinion.

### Custom (optional) enbseries (WIP)

Also, I've added a custom enbseries variant, which is "optimized" for a passive night view - which I believe Vampires (or werewolfe) to have.

Days are slightly more intense, both in colors and brightnes but also shadows, while nights still remain dark'ish, but granting a somewhat good/far view, this applies to indoor as well - but for some reason, not to dungeons.

While I currently cannot play as much, since I'm still focusing on fixing issues on other parts of the LuV modular collection, this might undergo more fine-tuning later on, but as of now, its *about* where I want it to be.

# Known Issues

I've spent quite some hours/days investigating this, but could not find a fix for this - yet.
That said, I'll keep looking to find a solution.
But for now - after 5 weeks of modding, I do need a break and actualy play the game.

- Toches, Candles... all of a sudden they started to burn in an on/off style.
- Windhelm:
    - 1 (EFLX added a 2nd) fire near main entrance is offset of its chauldron
    - 1 fire right of stairs to 'palace' is offset of its chauldron (left wall.. dont ask me)
- Solitude:
    - 1 'flying' tree somewhere in the back.
- Dawnstar:
    - Fire under the pier towards the light-'house'...

# HOTFIX
* Mnimal adjustment (DoF) to the ENB preset: Silent Horizon
* Removed LUX (again)

Of course I tested it, over 10 new games with different characters at different locations all across skyrim...
I've had no issues, until after I uploaded the changes, published them and finaly started my own playthrough...

Issues fixed now / no more:
Flickering textures, body and face tatoos vanished or changed, dark face bug (every 5-10 minutes)

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.
