# Description

While this collection has nearly 200 mods, the size is only 20GB and the experience remains relatively vanilla, but better.

I made this collection because my wife wanted to try Skyrim again and many collections had issues with the latest Steam version of Skyrim. The working collections we found tended to be extremely large, have performance issues, or have mechanics that made the game unfriendly to new players. This collection aims to strike a balance between fun, vanilla gameplay, exploration, audio, and visuals. \

# Notes

Use 'R3' (controller) or 'C' (keyboard) to inspect/view an item from your inventory. Alternatively, disable the Character Sheets mod.

You must install the Anniversary Edition Community Club content (AE CC content) before launch this collection. Please launch Skyrim without mods at least one time to allow the AE CC content to install.\\

# Optional Configurations

## Animations

### FNIS Animations:

This collection natively supports optional animations for the XP32 Skeleton via FNIS. I no longer recommend configuring the option to automatically run FNIS on Deployment Event. If you have this configured, please disable this if you run into any issues.

Simply launch FNIS from the toolbar and enable the "Skeleton Arm Fix" patch.

1. Within Vortex, go to Dashboard, then find the section named **Tools**. Confirm that the option "*Enable toolbar*" is toggled on.
2. Click the FNIS icon from the top-left of Vortex, near the Skyrim launch button. FNIS will open in a new window.
3. Select the "SKELETON Arm Fix" patch, then click "Update FNIS Behavior."
4. After FNIS returns a success message, you should be able to see FNIS Data as a new mod in the collection. Make sure this mod is enabled and that you approve the file changes when prompted by Vortex.
5. Click "Deploy mods" within Vortex and approve any file-changes Vortex detected related to the newly generated behaviors.

### Nemesis Animations:

This collection natively supports the optional mods for True Directional Movement (including Headtracking, Leaning, and Horse Archery) and Payload Interpreter, but that doesn't mean you have to stop there.

1. Within Vortex, go to Dashboard, then find the section named **Tools**. Confirm that the option "*Enable toolbar*" is toggled on.
2. Click the Nemesis icon from the top-left of Vortex, near the Skyrim launch button. Nemesis will open in a new window. Ignore the first-launch warnings.
3. Click "Update Engine" then wait for the process to finish.
4. Select the desired patches \[and install any requisite mods], then click the *Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine* button.\
   By default, this collection supports the True Directional Movement patches without the need to download additional mods. You can exit Nemesis after completion.
5. Click "Deploy mods" within Vortex and approve any file-changes Vortex detected related to the newly generated behaviors.

Skyrim AE Vanilla Plus - Working

Works with latest Steam AE version and easy-install with Vortex. Don't play vanilla, play this instead.
