# Hi fellow kids.

After few months of reaserch and trying things i created this ~300 mod pack that is very easily to implement and make playing Skyrim feel like completly new game.

The collection is mostly aimed at new players or someone that never (or not much) played modded Skyrim but i think some more experienced modders will have fun too.

I played before with much more mods as well as with much less and i think i found great ballance between unique game experience and low entry level of modding/programming skills.&#x20;

This list does not containt >EVERYTHING< you can do with mods becouse i was focused on reliable mods, that are fairly easy to install, dont cross with eachother and will not make you play on negative fps nor will have a negative effect on game stabillity.

I tried to touch every aspect of playing starting from things like UI, sounds or graphics, and ending with game mechanics, animations and dlc-sized new quests (and ofc a lot more).

This mod pack is ballanced for Survival mode and at least Expert difficulty. Without it the game might feel weird and unimmersive.

Bellow i will break down each category of mods and instructions. I won't get in detail with every mod, if u want to get more information you can check on each mod's page.&#x20;

So, lets begin. I invite you to life changing journey of long downloanding processes, questioning what is happening in some people heads and loading orders.&#x20;

### Character progression and exploration:

- There are new creatures and existing ones act more like in real life (that ones that exist ofc).&#x20;
- Changes are made to perk trees, third person camera, standing stones, dialogues camera.
- Experience is changed to be in like current games. Game gives you exp for finishing quests, klling creatures and bandits, smelting, reading books etc. **This is not nessesary**, you can turn it off by deleting mod "Experience NG".&#x20;
- Campfire system is remodeled.
- Dungeons are much bigger and not so simmilar to others. Jumping is improved. Bandits are now organised and can create more complex bands.&#x20;
- There is now an oxygen metter so u wont drown that easy.&#x20;
- Merchants are now much richer.&#x20;
- Potion drinking mechanic are now different so u cant instantly full heal
- You can now knock on closed npc's doors instead of breaking in
- No more boring loading screens, now there are interesting ones
- Achievments are now enabled even thou you will play with mods
- Books that are unread by you will now glow
- Improved third pearson selection and will now show value, weight, effects of item, etc before picking up and how much u have it in your inventory

### Immersion:

- Several hundreds of additional voiced dialogue lines from npcs, bandits, other enemies and even dragons and dragon priests!
- The weather will now change and act accordingly to region u are in. You will also feel the effects of the weather.
- NPC's will react to various things happening aroung them like storm, rain or dragon attack. What they will do depends on who they are, f.e. guards will not run from a fight but merchants will.
- The game now will let you start your journey from many different begginings. You can choose to start game as usuall but also you can start as skooma addict in rehab, solider for Stormcloacks/Imperium or even as a bandit (and much more).
- The bards will now perform many different songs
- Bandits and NPC's in cities will talk and interract with eachother like they are living their own lifes
- Carriages are in more places and they can take you to more places, not just major cities
- The roads are more immesrive and there will be signs of civil war around Skyrim
- There will be patrols of guards on the roads depending on where u are and system of reputation is implemented to the game so they will act differenlty based of what's your reputation is in that region.
- There are now many more weapons and armors. They are remodelled, reshaped and reenchanted so they will feel more immersive
- Armors and equipment of guards, soliders and major npcs are now remodelled so they will feel like they sould do, not just random dudes/babes with axes
- U can now wear lanter on your belt for better light in dark areas (bcs light in insides is also totally remodelled)
- Companions, Collague of winterhold and some other fractions are now "upgraded" both visualls and story so they will feel more immersive
- The equipment you wear will be now displayed on your charracter (shields and 2h weapons on back, 1h weapons attached to belt)
- Enchanted weapons will now have visuall effect depending on enchant (f.e. frost enchant on axe will make axe glow white-blue light with snow-like effect)

### Combat:

- This collection contains 3 mods that overhaul combat mechanics
- The main one is [Valhalla Combat](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/64741) that adds stamina managment system, exhaustion, stun meter and much more. Feel free to check it out on mod's page.
- [Ultimate Combat](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17196) increases turning speed, chance of disarming, adds locational damage (head, leg, arms, tc), timed block and also stamina managment (this and timed block are also included in Valhalla so u have to disable them in one mod so they won't collide with eachother)
- Ultimate Combat, [Enhanced Enemy AI](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32063) and [Mortal Enemies](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4881) adds various of behaviour for enemies during combat. It includes attack speed, special attacks, improving a lot of enemies AI and much more
- Archery is changed based on [Archery Gameplay Overhaul](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24296)
- Collection also includes various of replacements for animations during combat. Changed slashing, swinging effects, etc.
- Mods adds serveral hundreds of new spells, new animations for casting spells, and rune effect while "holding" certain spells
- Certain mobs and enemies have now new attacks

### Crafting:

- The collection contains total overhauls of: Enchanting, Alchemy, Smithing, Smelting and more.&#x20;
- You can ask various npcs for crafting or enchanting something for you if u dont have enough level or cerain perks.
- Alchemy recepies and alchemy in overall is changed

## UI:

- HUD and UI is changed to be more immersive and customizable
- Using melee weapon have now slashing effect
- Third person seleciton is improved but it was mentioned above
- Compass is NOT changed due to compass mod was crashing the game and doing severe dmg so it might change in the future

### Visuals:

The collection contains mods that changes looks of: all NPC's, male and female player models, bodies, eyes, kids, hair, moutains, Dragon Priests, Dragon Priests masks, book covers, bears, beards, giants, falmers, ore veins, cities and towns, roads, doors, hagravens, gems, potions, weapons, armors, shields, soulgems, sabrecats, locks, banners, flora, trolls, cloathing, dragons and other various creatures, homes, shouts, magic, standing stones, weather, weather effects, lanterns and lighting.

### Sounds:

The collection changes sounds/music of: battle, ambience, bards songs, shouts, various of smaller effects like sheating a weapon or punching a wall, drawing bow etc.

<details><summary>iNSTRUCTIONS</summary>
Firstly check if u actually have Skyrim **Special Edition** or **Anniversary Edition** (this list should work with this two verions and no, "i think i have Skyrim" is not enough, check it first)

Next i want you to download Vortex and LOOT. I made this list based on Vortex bcs this is the first mod configuration tool that most new player pics. LOOT is a tool for organising load order for mods so u won't load f.e. hair changing mod before mod that changes apperance of all nps in Whiterun. LOOT will work automaticly so just download it and it will attach to Vortex.

The next step is delete all other mods u have :). I can't ensure you if the game will work as intended if u have other mods not from the list bcs some of them conflicts with eachother.

After that you can safely download the collection and configure all mods that needs configuration. If you are not sure what you should choose you can go to mod page and read there. It looks complicated but mostly pick what u want and check if certain mods asks for patches for some other mods u have.

Next you need to go to "Dashboard" on Vector and create new tool for FNIS. The process of creating a FNIS tool is described on FNIS page here: [Fores New Idles](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038?tab=files)

*//author's note: I decided to run animations from this modpack on FNIS due to new version of Nemesis beeing under development (current is unstable and buggy for me). FNIS is old but it just works. In future i want to make changes and switch to Nemesis but currently FNIS is enough imo.*

Then you need to run FNIS and let him apply all animations.

That's it. You start game from Vortex, hope that it won't crash and configure mods ingame as u want. I recomend starting a new game so every mod can load itself correctly.
