## Collection Highlights

## Expansions

- **Stardew Valley Expanded** is a fanmade expansion for ConcernedApe's Stardew Valley. This mod adds 26 new NPCs, 33 locations, 230 character events, 18 fish, reimagined vanilla areas, two farm maps, a reimagined world map reflecting all changes, new music, questlines, festivals, and many miscellaneous additions!
- **East Scarp** is a picturesque neighborhood by the sea, and a direct extension of Pelican Town located at the west of it. This mod comes with many new locations, NPCs, items and additions, however, it is also a home for Custom NPCs to inhabit without creating extra map patches.
- **Adventurer’s Guild Expanded** is an expansion for the Adventurer's Guild, complete with new quests, 30+ story events, new romanceable NPCs, and the ability to befriend and recruit a friendly monster to live on your farm!

## Skills

- **Travelling** is leveled up by simply running around. One of my biggest pet peeves with Stardew Valley is how the player gains very few upgrades to their mobility until relatively late in the game. Before unlocking the warp totems, obelisks, and return scepter, the only upgrade to mobility are minecarts and a temporary speed buff in the form of coffee.
- **Archaeology** is a skill and general content based around the digging and panning mechanics!
- **Socializing** is a skill and professions related to talking with and helping townspeople.
- **Binning** is a skill and professions for searching through peoples trash.
- **Luck** reimplements the game's unimplemented luck skill and adds professions for it.
- **Magic** adds a full spell system to the game.
- **Cooking** pretty self explanatory.

## Cooking

### New Cooking Menu

- The cooking menu has been rewritten, resprited, and rebuilt from the ground-up to give you more control, more immersion, and more enjoyment out of your meals. After you've spent a couple weeks tending to Grandpa's farm, your parents at home will happen to come across a dusty old heirloom.. the old family cookbook!
- Search for recipes by name, filter out the ones you can't cook, seek out foods with buffs, sort them by gold value and health restored! There's no more getting lost in your cookbook. Navigate menus and inventories by mouse, keyboard, scrollwheel, and gamepad.
- Click items from your inventories into the ingredients slots to pick and choose which ones you'd like to use, meaning no more gold-star ingredients being eaten by the game when cooking. Craft up to 9 at once to save on time spent cooking, but be sure to remember that cooking in bulk gives you diminishing returns for your Cooking skill...

### New Tool

- You'll find that when cooking you won't only need your trusty cookbook, but your frying pan, too! It's not as vicious as the Harvest Moon collect-a-thon system for gating your cooking opportunities, but with cooking tool progression enabled you'll be limited to using fewer ingredients the lower your Frying Pan's level is.
- Upgrading costs less than a standard tool, and like the Trash Can it's not a held object: it only appears in the new-improved cooking menu.
- Your ingredients slots are based on either your Farmhouse upgrade level or your Frying Pan level, whichever's higher!

## Magic

### Unlock magic

- To unlock magic, visit the wizard with three hearts or more. The magic UI should appear in the bottom-left corner right after the event. Then visit the alter in Pierre's shop and equip some spells by dragging a spell onto the hotbar along the right side of the menu.
- To get the mana potion recipe, visit the adventurer's guild.
- The mod adds a radio in the Wizard tower, which you can click to get a random hint each day about where you can use the Analyze spell to learn new spells.

### Use magic

- To cast a spell, hold Q and press a number key (1 through 4) corresponding to the spell's position in the hotbar. Press Q + Tab to swap between spell sets.

### Professions

You gain magic XP by casting spells. Leveling up increases your mana regen rate, and unlocks some professions:

- Level 5: Potential (+2 spell upgrade points).
- - Level 10: Prodigy (+2 spell upgrade points).
  - Level 10: Memory (adds a fifth spell per spell set).
- Level 5: Mana Regen I (doubles mana regen speed).
- - Level 10: Mana Regen II (triples base mana regen speed).
  - Level 10: Mana Reserve (+500 max mana).
