# Main features

Of course, the major points on this collection are the three world expansion mods, SVE, RSV, and ES.  Also includes Grandpa's Farm, a bunch of new crops and machinery, and Xiddav's Little Red Schoolhouse.  Most of the mods that are listed as "Recommended", not required, are purely visual, while a few have greater functionality but are unnecessary if you choose to play without them.  However, the recommended mods, including the visual, will often add additional depth to the characters of SDV, and therefore it is highly recommended to include those mods in your installation as well.

**Important Info - Please read!!!**

- *Some of the mods might not install nicely through Vortex (WarpsEnglish, for example) because they are mods that are intended to overwrite some assets of other mods.  I will compile and include a list of all mods to pay extra attention to at a future date - I am a wife, a mom, and a student teacher, so I do not have time at present - but for now, if a mod isn't working correctly, double check the install instructions.*
- [Little Red School House - Seasonal Medieval Retexture](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/16140) *by [Shyziie](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/users/38980835) is not included in the Mods list, I assume because of the required manual method for installation because it directly replaces assets from Xiddav's Little Red Schoolhouse mod.  This mod is purely visual and is not necessary to run this collection; however, if you install all of the other visual mods, I strongly suggest installing this one as well, so that the schoolhouse will not look out of place in your town.*
- *I have been noticing a slight bug with some decor/furniture items appearing invisible when all mods are installed.  I am working on tracking down the culprit, but it may take time.  In the meantime, **most** items are appearing normally, so please don't let this deter you.*
- *One final note: because I am currently running Stardew Valley on a laptop not meant for gaming, there are a few PPJA mods I have left off of my installation to improve game performance.  This should run pretty smoothly on a gaming machine, but if you're on a non-gaming laptop (like mine - Intel core i5 processor and 8 gb of RAM) you may find that you have longer load times and that the game even locks up a bit from time to time.  Typically it should unlock itself if you allow enough load time.  I spent a lot of time tweaking and optimizing this list to get the most I could out of the performance my computer allows, so I hope it works well for you, too!*
