While I'm working on making this into a wabbajack list, because vortex is tough to work with, it's also a great place to find changes made to the list in the meantime. This is a vast mod list consisting of quality of life mods, visual overhaul mods, expansion mods, etc. Now containing around 500 mods! Multiplayer compatibility is not confirmed at this time but I am currently testing functionality and am looking for individuals to help with this process. I hope you enjoy otherwise.

Note: I strongly recommend using Stardrop, a mod manager available for download here on the nexus, for your stardew valley needs. It is built with stardew in mind and has a bunch of tools to help ensure your mods deploy correctly and avoid common issues that arise while using Vortex. (Mass download/Collection download not yet available through Stardrop; manual download required)

# Main features

\*This list contains Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, East Scarp,  Downtown Zuzu, Walk to the Desert, Adventurers Guild Expanded, Visit Mt. Vapius, and more. It contains new NPCs, Locations, and Quests. Immersive Farm 2 gives you plenty of space, and the Tractor Mod makes it easy to manage. Fishing Trawler - New Horizons, is an immersive mass-fishing minigame. Seasonal Outfits for your NPCs gives them more life, while Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion, Farmerjack's Dialogue Expansion, I Can Fix Him (Shane), and Clint Rewritten to really flesh out the lives of your neighbors. Update 1.6 has taken a pretty large chunk of mods out of this list but I've worked to add unofficial versions of mods I could and replace those I could not.\*

At his time, having multiplayer worlds with more than **2 total players** is not stable.&#x20;

A user has reported that upon starting year 2, player 2 is no longer able to connect. Pending more info.

# Before you start

*Here's some things you might want to know:*

*Please install and configure smapi, as well as mod manager of your choice prior to installing collection. Vortex allows for mass download with nexus premium, Stardrop offers more stability. You can always download via Vortex, then move files over to Stardrop. (Making a copy of mods folder, making Vortex stop managing Stardew, then putting all of your mods back in your mods folder) Stardrop will automatically detect them in your mods folder.*

**Best practices**

- Use Xiddav's earthy recolor fix to overwrite the files of xiddav's tilesheet (Unsure if still needed)
- For errors regarding to grapes of ferngill requiring atelier mods, for now either ignore errors or delete PFM folders in question to remove errors.
- For Lantana Redraw and PolySweet: After downloading the original Mod, find →\Polyamory Sweet\\\[CP] Polyamory Sweet\Assets\Lantana and replace the original png file (please ensure that it is also a png file after the replacement is completed)
- "My chests are weird colors and the floor tiles are messed up" In the mod settings, go to alternate textures, and switch it to keep default textures when placing items, otherwise it will randomly sample a texture when placing items.
- PLEASE READ: IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC ROMANCE IN MIND, GO INTO THE MOD FILES FOR LIFE CYCLE OR THE RIDGESIDE RIVAL HEARTS MOD AND DISABLE/DELETE THE ROMANCE OPTIONS THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO HAPPEN, It is recommended you delete any double romance options, (i.e. making emily choose EITHER clint or shane, or making leah choose EITHER elliot or haley. IF you put Haley with Alex, please delete the ridgeside rival hearts mod. Otherwise Alex will try to juggle her and Jeric from Ridgeside. If you don't change these settings, please don't be mad at me because your s/o cheated on you :(
- If you'd like to use the reshade preset, download it manually from the nexus, then download ReShade from the reshade website, set reshade up to manage SMAPI and be sure to select OpenGL. From there it will ask if you want to use a specific preset and you can select the file of your preset from your computer files, you may need to extract the files using 7zip or Winrar first, and then select the preset files specifically.&#x20;
- In Elle's Seasonal Buildings - Mod Compatibility Textures (found in the optional mods section), choose the textures you need (for me it was the white variant of the earthy recolor tractor garage) and paste them into the assets folder of the tractor mod)
- For Tractor Remodel (optional file) - Grab the texture you want for your tractor and move it to the assets folder of the tractor mod, rename the old texture to tractor\_backup and the new texture to tractor ....BOOM new tractor
- Delete "A New Dream" as it was integrated into "Passerby Cemetery"
- Additional Vintage Compatibility mod will always load AFTER the original mods in order to overwrite them. If you're using stardrop you may have to manually replace these assets yourself.
- Immersive Unique Children talk will load AFTER Unique Children Talk.
- &#x20;Unique Gift Dialogues Expanded - config  - Shane's alcohol gift lines can be toggled off so as to not overwrite lines from more thorough Shane mods.
- In mod settings find Growable Forage and Crops and disable all BUSH options to avoid Tea Bush Bug
- &#x20;In regards to Immersive children portraits/sprites: To let the children use the sprites and portraits in the events and dialogues from Immersive Family (Portraits Version) and Immersive Unique Children Talk or Unique Children Talk:

1\) Please set the config using Generic Mod Config Menu before loading your save game. Please also note that you need to change the config every time loading a save game with different spouse and children:

2\) Please tick the UsePortraitMOD config option for Immersive Family.

- If you would like to have no fence decay, open cjb cheats menu and select that setting.
- In order to activate sprinklers, set the hotkey in the mod settings for Return of Immersive Sprinklers, then press that hotkey while hovering the cursor over the sprinklers.
- In fishing made easy suite mod settings. toggle on re-catchable legendary fish.
- Let jorts and jean festival fix sve load AFTER jorts and jean
- In mod settings menu for LunnaAstray, check seasonal outfits box
- In the config file for MiniBars, after "show\_full\_life", change true to false, and save the file; this will help avoid bars showing up accidentally in cutscenes and underwater.
- For those who don't want a random minecart next to their mailbox: In mod settings for Integrated minecarts \[CP], scroll down to Jibb.minecart.farm, uncheck this option and the minecart will disappear.
- In mod settings for Wear More Rings, set number of rings to "4" to best fit the UI.
- To use the seasonal portrait mods mentioned in optional mods section IF they're not CP mods:

1. download said mods
2. extract using winrar or similar program
3. copy portraits folder from each mod 1 at a time
4. paste into seasonal cute characters mod folder, under portraits (into folder with their name)
5. overwrite images in folder (say "yes")
6. copy sprites folder from new mod
7. find "characters" folder in seasonal cute characters
8. find folder with characters name again and paste sprite images into the folder
9. say "yes" to overwrite
10. when vortex asks if you'd like to use the newer files, say yes.
