## Prerequisites Make sure your Stardew Valley game is updated to the latest version. Regularly check for updates in the Collections tab of Vortex: 1. Select collections showing an "Update" notification. 2. Follow the prompts to update the mods, opting to create a New Profile. 3. **Select Remove All when prompted.** This is critical! If you miss this step, you will need to remove the collection from the Collections page, and return to step 8 of the installation instructions above.

- When resolving conflicts in Rules Manager, all mods should launch **after** configurations and content patches. - In the case of two Aesthetic Valley configuration conflicts, the one that matches your recolor should go **after**.

You can make your own choices but here are some suggestions: - (Dark and Earthy) DaisyNiko's Earthy Interface pairs best with Earthy Interface (both from Witchcore). If this pair is selected, Witchcore's configuration should launch after Fairycore in Rules Management. - (Light and Bright) Starblue Valley Unofficial pairs best Overgrown Flowery Interface (both from Fairycore). If this pair is selected, Fairycore's configuration should launch after Witchcore in Rules Management. - If you elect to use use Gwen's Medieval Buildings rather than Tanga's Forest Buildings, you must also disable the Slime Hutch Restored mod.

Sometimes this will fix everything and save you a lot of time! ## Possible Conflict Warning - If you receive a Vortex error about a incompaible mods, please turn off one of the pairs. This just means the collection creator flagged them to not be used together because they would not work when together. - If Vortex presents a conflict between any mod and a configuration or content override for this collection, please set the rule so that set the rule so that the configuration or content override should always launch after the other file. If you have conflicts between multiple configurations (due to stacking collections), the one that goes last will take precident. These rules are all preconfigured, but Vortex does not always properly deploy them to existing profiles.

### Common Issues 💢Seeing lots of red in SMAPI? Maybe a mod did not install correctly. This issue can often be solved by filtering "Enabled" mods inside Vortex, selecting them all with CTRL-A in the Mods view, and then clicking Reinstall in the bottom menu (do not right-click!) ✂️ If you're getting an error that mods are installed more than once, the easiest solution is to just remove the collection poster from the collections tab without removing any mods, then reinstall the collection to a new profile. This usually happens when mods are not removed during an update. 📅 If you previously installed mods without Vortex, those mods may try to load and create conflicts. It is highly recommend you remove them from your mod folder while using this collection. On the Mods tab click "Purge Mods" then go to Open > Open Game Mods Folder (not Staging). Remove all folders, then Deploy Mods in Vortex. ✋ If you receive an error in Vortex that Vortex needs to access a file but it is write protected, restart your Vortex app or your computer.
