# Main features

With the use of quantum reshade, stellar Lut and Skurkbro's Retexture Project, the game's default green filter disappears giving the player a pleasant sight, new textures and a fresh sight of incredible lighting without the cost of performance all while staying pure to the vanilla style.

Performance enhancement, as many know the performance of starfield isn't well optimized but i'm looking to fix that even if its not by a large margin, this collection includes several performance mods that do not take away from the natural graphical sight of starfield and while at it also give you more smoothness so you don't have to play at 20 fps or even lower while fighting in a heavy area.

The Vanilla UI and HUD for starfield could Definitely use some upgrades, with the addition of Starui and Hud improvements the ui is now not only better looking but responsive with 60 and 120 fps options along with tag icons to help recognize the large amounts of items that you aren't going to remember in the game unless you really care.![modded sarah morgan](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1061331601478406164/1153491314634129519/Screenshot_56.png?width=808\&height=455)my modded version of sarah morgan

**Requirements**

- Reshade is required link: https://reshade.me/ (you are able to use whatever reshade you want but i personally recommend Rudy reshade or quantum reshade)
- *SFSE link: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/106 (starfield script extender)*

**Best practices**

- *if possible install mods like LUTs, Performance and mods that edit loading screens manually by adding them to the starfield directory where starfield exe is.*
- *follow any instruction's that the mod authors list on their pages.*
- *i'm not sure if this collection is compatible with the xbox gamepass version of the game if anyone can test this out and let me know it'll be very helpful*
