# Before you start

\*The Luma Reshade can make some reflections REALLY bright, so in game press the home button and adjust to your liking. Also I'm not sure if you will need to go download reshade yourself since its an off-site requirement but its real easy! For some reason the Luman reshade doesn't always install correctly with vortex so here you go! \*Installation:\\

- Drop the "LumaFXRS" file and "reshade/Shaders" folder into your Starfield main folder. (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Starfield)
- Find and install the latest [RESHADE ](https://reshade.me/)and run the program. When prompted to select a game find "Starfield.exe" then press "next"
- Now select DirectX10/11/12. Click "next" again.
- It will ask which packages you want to install. Browse into your starfield folder and select "LumaFXRS". Click "finish"
- Now when you start the game it should be active. If not you can open the reshade menu with the "Home" key. Navigate to the top left search bar and select "LumaFXRS".
- Enjoy!

- *Suggest starting on easy till you get use to new difficulty, maybe bring extra companions with you on higher difficulties \*don't recommend more than 2 at a time\*\* and upgrade your ship. Or do none of that I'm not your mom \**
- *If you plan on decorating the inside of your ship then I highly recommend using the Luxury Line of habs!!\*and cob's\**

# Recommended specs

I've tested this on all display settings and to be honestly; not a major difference in visuals between ultra and low except in shadows. Not enough of a visual change for me to justify the hardware demand having it set to ultra just for the sake of it when low works and looks great!! but hey you do you
