# The "Director's Cut" of Subnautica

*This collection of mods aims to enhance the vanilla experience, with mods that add new quality of life features and new mechanics into the game, while enriching the original experience with new challenges.*

# Showcase

*The mods aim to do multiple things, from changing some of the more basic elements of the game, to  introducing new and exciting challenges. These include:*

- Reviving cut content, with new entities and biomes to discover
- Enhancing the crafting system with new recipes for known blueprints, while increasing the cost of scanned blueprints and craftable items
- Adding biodiversity to the crater, with multiple variations of every animal
- Introducing the bleed mechanic, which will require the player to have first aid handy throughout the game
- Ease the crafting and storage experience with sorted containers and local storage sharing while crafting
- Added a roll mechanic that gives your character much more dexterity when fitting into narrow cave systems and chasms (just don't eat too much before taking the cyclops out for a spin!)
- Quality of life improvements for vehicles, including some cool additions for the prawn suit and cyclops
- Included the beloved map tab for easier navigation
- Revamped the UI in several places, adding a radial menu for crafting and expanding the quickslots bar
- Included a new tab on the PDA, the ToDo List, which serves as a guide for players to write their own story as they progress through the game. Also automatically updates during major game events
- Several other quality of life improvements and bugfixes
