# Description

EDIT: Apologies to everyone as I've been doing a bad job at keeping this collection up-to-date. I have not been playing Valheim in a while and I've been focused on other things. So, let me know if you want to see something added or fixed.

*NOTE: If you encounter issues, please comment in the "Bugs" section and I will do my best to respond and help!*

Changing this collection to "Total Overhaul". I've come back to update this collection since I'm kinda done playing Diablo 4 at the moment till the first season comes out. I'm changing it to "Total Overhaul" because I feel like I've made enough gameplay changes to no longer consider it "Vanilla Plus". These mods definitely make the game more fun for me by adding things I feel like were missing from the game, or maybe just adding conveniences, as well as fixing/adding things I feel like should've been there. I don't want to ridiculously overhaul the game because then it goes away from Valheim's original nature.

This is also a good collection to download as a baseline and then stack whatever you want on top of it. Feel free to make suggestions of what mods you'd like to see added to this collection in the comments, and I'll let you know if/why I'm willing to add them or not.

# Before you start

*NOTE: With the addition of "Useful Trophies", if you get a message like "Increased skill 4833645" or whatever...that just means that a custom skill was increased. Which one, idk. The mod author hasn't updated the mod in a while but it still works.*

1. Please make sure you have [BepinEx](https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/) installed and up-to-date in the Valheim Game Folder.
2. If using Vortex, do not install the "Configuration Manager v18.0.0" mod that it suggests as I've seen that it didn't allow me to actually configure anything in-game as it's supposed to. Please use the one that I've provided in this collection.

# Main features

My main thing surrounding this collection is the feeling of progression. While there are fixes and UI adjustments etc., the thing I like most is the skill progression mods to make it feel like your character is improving more as you play through your world instead of just being stagnant the whole game.

This mod collection adds:

1. Skill mods. I've added skill mods that give the game a better feeling with progression / obtaining passives from hitting certain levels in skills / other ways to level up to get an advantage / etc.
2. Some QoL mods (i.e. "Pull from containers", "better ladders", "stamina tweaks", etc.).
3. A better trader. This is always nice.
4. A better way to fish that makes sense. Idk why spearfishing wasn't added when fishing was added, but hey, whatever.
5. UI and stat adjustments.
6. Bug fixes (i.e. Archery).
7. Bronze Age assistance. With playing it again, the Bronze Age is so slow due to the ratio of copper/tin to bronze. I also like to start doing creative building around that time, so I added the bronze stonecutter.
8. A better blast furnace and crafting station system.
9. A better portal system.
10. Stamina assistance.

I've pulled some mods from [Thunderstore.io](https://valheim.thunderstore.io/) because the ones I like and use are updated for Mistlands there and may only be available there. The others I pulled from Nexus for Vortex conveniences.

For Thunderstore mods, all you need to do is manually download them and they should download through your Mod Manager. If not, manually download by going to their respective links and upload the ZIP folders to Vortex or whichever Mod Manager you use.

# Extras

I've adjusted key-bindings for Auto-Pickup and Toggle Build Camera that I suggest others do as well:

1. For Auto-Pickup, I've set it to "N" in the Game Settings to avoid toggling it when I click "V" to eat with the EquipmentSlots mod.
2. For Build Camera, I've set it to "T" in the Config file to avoid toggling it when I click "B" to eat with the EquipmentSlots mod.

If you also do not like these configured values, you can set them to whatever you like.

For "Automatics", I'm not sure if Vortex uploads/installs my configurations exactly. I made a lot of configurations with that mod using the Configuration Manager that I prefer to play with. Please adjust those settings to your own liking.
