Patch 7 Alpha Release Revision 33: Alright, its take a bit, but we are back up and running with the majority of Mods installed and Working (ie my game will load and I can create a Character). I have not yet been able to go in and verify if all mods are working as intended, please do let us know if you run into any issues or mods that appear to not be working.&#x20;

# \*\*Important! - a downloadable .txt version of the Load Order is pinned in the Comments. Download this LO and convert the file type back to .lsx and you can use the Load Order Import Function in Vortex. Mod configuration Files and Lists are available on our Discord (to Configure Zerd's RAW and add items to the Attunement List)\*\*

\*\*Start a New Game if you are updating or fresh installing! \*\*\
**Pay Attention to Installation Instruction on the Mod Pages and their dependencies! Things after Patch 7 are still a bit weird at times, I highly recommend starting modding from a Completely Clean Install. That means fully removing the game and related files (not just uninstalling and reinstalling).**

# Description

FIRST OFF - A Major Shoutout to all the Mod Creators and Developers, thanks for all the Hard Work Done and Yet To Come!
Please consider endorsing not just the Collections but any and All of the Mods and Modders themselves too!

*This is a collective project attempting to fix issues and make the BG3 experience closer to 5e RAW and One DnD rules*

*Not everything is going to be exactly 5e or One DnD as mods sometimes contain homebrew elements, we've done out best to avoid this when possible or chosen mods that contain 5e features that cant be found elsewhere even if they have some unwanted elements or off interactions (hopefully not critical) with other mods in this collection.*

*When I can't fix things, or specific updates break things please check the mod pages for updates and look at the Bug reports and Posts to see if there are known issues or solutions.*

*Playing with the Load Order is time consuming and painful, you may brick old saves and be forced to start a new game... (Should be fine as long our My Load Order is working, fingers crossed!)*

*GL Have Fun, If you have other 5e or One DnD Mods, feel free to drop a post or comment if they might be worth adding here. Some things like 5e Firearms or the like are things we considered and for the moment chose not to include. We want 5e / One DnD rules and Experience, with as little jank as we can.*

*Notes: Native Mods - Native Mod Loader, Native Camera Tweaks, WASD Movement must be uninstalled and Reinstalled each update - Probably the same for Achievement Enabler (Any mod that is installed an Engine Injector)*

*BG3SE Script Extender is Required - there is now a Nexus Mods Mod for this (is added to the collection so no need to worry about this one anymore or checking for updates outside of Vortex / NX)*

# Before you start

*Some Moding Experience Recommended, I use Vortex Mod Manager, some people seem to have issues with Vortex and yes it has some issues. Most common thing I see is mods being locked in Load Order, the quick way to fix this is to Close and Relaunch Vortex, sometimes a few times if needed, this usually fixes the issue. Other than that, I've found Vortex far more user friendly than BG3 mod manager, despite some of the issues and common complaints. (It also allows me to publish this collection due to the integration with Nexus, so there is also that)*

**Requirements**

- *BG3 Script Extender is required for some mods - regular game updates may require reinstalling BG3SE*

**Best practices**

- *Test as much as you can*
- *Load Order is Important*
- *Check For Mod Updates*
- *If things Break check for updates & patches*
- *Double Check Your Load Order*
- *Make sure Engine Injector mods are set to be Engine Injector Mod Type in Vortex*
- *If there is a Game Update, Engine Injector Mods may need to be reinstalled*
- *Troubleshooting can help narrow down what broke and why, one thing changing can break multiple mods at a time*

# Recommended specs

A working computer with decent disk space that runs the vanilla game well enough, this shouldn't be too much more taxing than the base game. Load times will increase a bit.

# Compatible collections

*no Clue, leave a comment if you find some - we've looked at most and found them lacking something we wanted so we just made our own. Nothing against other Collections or Mods, we just had the," if its not the way you want it then do it yourself", mentality.*

BG3 5E / One DnD Overhaul

5e /One DnD Rules Fixes, Tons of Subclasses, a number of QOL and UI improvements, as well as some optional additions. Goal to recreate a 5e experience as well as character build testing space. Patch 7 Fixes are mostly in, this is working but not tested!

X3CVIPER

More updates More progress, a small number of subclasses that were lagging after patch 7 are back (Divine Soul Sorc for example) and also added a new mod for Dance Bard.&#x20;
Few other minor fixes, updates, changed out the old Cavalier Mod for a new one from Sumradagnoth (who has made a large number of Class Mods that we like).
Small handfull of new options mods and minor QoL things, as always please do let us know if you run into some issue or bugs \*(they may not be ours, but we do like to try to find issues and see if those can be resolved or if specific mods should be reviewed again) We will always reach out to Mod Creators on Nexus if we can to see if there is anything to be done, or more often be told we were dumb and messed something up (and hopefully how to fix it)
