*This collection is banner kings with as many mods as does not crash your game.*

You may ask why I have not included some serious mods like dismemberment plus etc and that is because these will crash your game.

There is nothing adult about this, more prisoner interactions makes it have the tag but without other adult mods it is just a way of taking lords equipment or forcing their loyalty.

It has late game focus with banner kings as forging claims and a dynasty, while keeping the early game seriously interesting with Calradia at war, warlords battlefields and many tournament features such as team fights, extra rewards and renown gain.

There are some optional mods such as the cheat mod, which I use to edit the chance of pregnancy and unlock smithing parts but i left this as optional. Some other optional mods are:

More prisoner interactions - but beware that although this is a great mod it can cause the occasional crash.&#x20;

Customizable troop wages - due to banner kings current bug where you pay your troop wages twice. But this also has the downside of reducing caravan and garrison wages also.

Warning: there will be some lag unless you move the maximum spawns down in the Bannerkings config for bandit parties unless you have a good PC.

# Before you start

*Vital information regarding this collection. You must follow these instructions or you will crash.*

1\. When downloading bannerkings, make sure you take the assets file and add this to the bannerkings module folder located within your main bannerlord directory. (Banner Kings Assets need to be extracted into your Bannerlord root folder/Modules/BannerKings. Assets only need to be redownloaded when they are updated / it's announced, not every time the mod updates.)

2\. Make sure that when you are at the menu, you turn off RMB tournament settings as these are incompatible with the tournament mods.

3\. When downloading BLSE, put these within the bin of your mount and blade bannerlord main directory, and launch from the Win64\_Shipping\_Client. (Bannerlord.BLSE.LauncherEX) Their instructions on nexus are unclear but its the main bin folder, not the bin of the modules. You will need to install this manually, and set your vortex to launch by scrolling to the bottom of dashboard, clicking the plus, and adding this shortcut. Remember to set this as primary using the 3 dot menu.

4\. Xorberaxes legacy is mostly incompatible with the mods, in the MCM menu, unselect all features but the cut through anything mod or you will experience crashes.

5\. Only download Open source armory (OPA) and the RMB patch, if you do weapons and saddles, you will crash.

6\. OPA will show black in the previews but works fine, this is on Taleworlds end and cannot be fixed currently.

7\. RTS Camera must be installed from steam workshop as the nexus version is outdated. Make sure to activate this on BLSE when launching. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2921338395

8\. If using diplomacy disable diplomacy changes in the bannerkings menu

**Best practices**

- *Load bannerkings at the bottom of the load order, with calradia at war just above it. If you do not do this you won't get a lot of features from bannerkings. For example, if improved garrisons is below bannerkings you will not recieve market taxes, which some people consider overpowered. If you do not want the market tax, put bannerkings below improved garrisons in your load order.*
- *Calradia at war factions will have faster speeds than anyone else if you use the slow party settings. I find them extremely weak but you may want to disable slower parties if you want to fight them without a grand chase, or use the cheat menu to add your speed back so you can catch them.*
- *Control+X is hotkeyed for both speed up battles and the fast diaglogue toggle, there is no fix so just make sure to press it at the end of the battle, you can see bottom left if its enabled or not.*
- *You can mess around with mcm a lot but do it only a little at once as some features can cause crashes as they overlap.*
- *The workshop mod will have two upgrade options when in clan menu, use the one with the +, not the upgrade button or you will wait 3 days for an upgrade. Both have the same feature.*
- *Better time is a must with banner kings as there is a lot of loading, the most success I had was hotkey 4 at 8x speed and control space at 40x speed, any more than 40x speed and I experienced crashing, but my PC is only medium-high specs.*
- *Bannerkings discord is the place to go for all information and help regarding the mod, you can see the invite on their page, there is a huge community all helping and designing custom mods for the pack.*
