# Description

*I am using the GOG version of SSE (I detest DRM) and have noticed that many folks are having trouble getting it going with SKSE dependent mods.  I think this is largely because of confusion over terminology.  SSE was updated to v1.6.xx.  "AE" is a paid for DLC pack that happens to include the updated SSE.  But for some reason, people call the updated SSE, "AE".  Which leads to all kinds of confusion.  We should be referencing only the .exe version.  ***For the GOG version, that is v.1.6.659.***  There may be exceptions, but I have found that most SKSE dependent mods that says they are compatible with v*1.6.629+  *will work with the GOG version.*
